OK - who's up to trying to lose 5 pounds in November? Here's how it works:
Let's see how many total pounds we can lose in November. Aim for 5, then let us know at month's end what your total is.

Just switched from sparks to myfitnesspal. I'm in for the challenge! I'm going on holiday for about a week and half so no access to gym and hopefully I can control my eating to smarter choices....

What is one thing you are thankful for each week about your health and fitness journey?-- Each week I am thankful for increased core strength and better posture.0 -
I AM SO IN... 2.2 kg for me
I am trying not to focus on the scales too much and trying to focus on how clothes look/feel and muscle tone... but if I could drop a couple kilos this month it would be great! I'll give this a go - but if I don't see a change on the scale, its cause of muscle-gain from working out 6 times a week!

I'm in!!! This sounds fun and very, very challenging considering it is the beginning of the holiday hustle and bustle but I'm in because I need some motivation from somewhere and it looks like it will be coming in the form of strangers for me.

I'm thankful to still be passing my radiography classes after yesterdays horrible test and to have been able to spend a little time with my family, whom I have not spent a significant amount of time with since Aug. 15, 2012. Only 2 years to GO!!! Yay!!0 -

I like this idea too! I don't know lbs so will all have to be in kg (2.2kg = 5lbs). Have only been on MFP for afew weeks but have a goal of January 26 for my sister's wedding... don't think I'll get to 68kg by then but will give it a good go!

I am thankful that I have a body that allows me to walk, talk, dance, lift things, type, enjoy normal cuddles and "bouncy cuddles", run, swim, cycle and anything else I might decide to do. I'm very lucky and will continue to appreciate my body for all of the things it allows me to do, not just because it doesn't fit into a certain sized dress or can't do some other things. That said, I'm also thankful I've taken the opportunity to make it stronger, fitter and more healthy - so that it can continue to serve me well for years to come.0 -

im in....am actually in another group to lose 10 pounds but i think 5 pounds is more realistic for me....day 1 is not too bad so far...have managed to stay away from the extra halloween treats and that says a lot for me!! :glasses:
