After reading some comments made here on MFP I thought of a few tips for all you beautiful people to do BEFORE you step on the scales again. Feel free to add to the list as I cannot think of everything.
1. Brush your teeth - all those extra food particles really add up.
2. Brush your hair - loose strands can also add up and cause the scale to go north.
3. Remove ALL clothing and accessories! This includes undies, socks, hair accessories, rings, fingernail polish, earrings, makeup, contacts, temporary tattoos, etc.
4. Clean your ears out with a Q-tip. All that extra wax will likely impact your final number.
Again, I am but one person. I cannot think of everything so feel free to add to the list so others can benefit from our combined knowledge....:laugh:

Remove your nail polish, ladies, for the love of god!
I see people posting disappointment at only losing .8 lbs in a week and they never think that it might be the nail polish that's holding them back.

I have to put my contacts in before getting on the scale, because they weigh a lot less than my glasses, and I couldn't see the number without one or the other.0
