Dumbbell Lifting

That makes sense. Shouldn't be too much of an issue since in a few months I'll have room to get a bar and everything. Looks like most of these links suggest starting with a set of 5s for most exercises and a set of 10s for other? I have a set that can go from 3 to 45 per dumbbell so I'm good there. Just wondering if that is a good place to start and how to tell when to add more weight.
Trying to transition from lifting 3-5s for 10 minutes in these "women's weights" workouts. That's not going to get me any stronger. lol0
