Short Person Before and Afters

I am 5'2" and a mommy of 1. I weighed 135lbs pre-marriage/pregnancy, so I am aiming to get back to that number. I started my journey at 167lbs, but didn't take a "before" photo until late July. I gained 70lbs during pregnancy, so my stomach was messed up pretty bad...stretch marks everywhere and such! I am still in shock that my stomach looks the way it does now...never thought I'd see the day! It's been 6 years since I gave birth to my kid, but I never really did anything about getting "in shape" until June of this year. Before that, I fell into the trap of people telling me stuff like "You're married and have a kid, who cares about dieting, you'll just gain it all back like the rest of us!!!"...I really let myself go because of words like that, thinking it was true...then I snapped out of it. I don't regret changing my lifestyle around! Patience pays off that's for sure...it took a lot of effort to get into the new workout/diet I have now. Went from doing ZERO exercise and eating really poorly...to heavy lifting/cardio and eating high protein / low fat meals.
I currently don't have a recent full body photo to share, but hope this helps!

I'm 5'2". Before marriage, I weighed 110 pounds. After three only years (and I don't even have kids as an excuse) I weighed 137-140 depending on the day. My cholesterol was up and I have a history diabetes in my family. I was quickly at risk! That was when I decided to change the way that I ate (no processed foods) and adding exercise (I use the elliptical and weights 3-5x week). I'm now down to 124! I don't know how to post pictures, but once I do I will share. I also don't have a current picture. I'll have my hubby take one later tonight.
Thanks for sharing all! We shorties should stick together!0 -

I am 5' 3", and was 239 lbs when I started August 2011. I wore a 20/22 in bottoms and XL/1X top in tops.
As of this morning, I am 1.9 lbs away from my goal. CW is 136.9, and I am wearing 4/6 in bottoms, and a M in tops. Heck... even my shoes are loose!

Hi guys. I'm 5"5' and started off at around 210 lbs. Lost about 70 lbs through p90x & MFP, and I'm now sitting at 143 lbs. Here's my before and afters :
205 lbs
143 lbs
Everyone here looks absolutely awesome, and it's seriously inspiring me to keep going!!1 -
I LOVE this thread!! You guys all look amazing- thanks for sharing.
I'm 5'1 and started at 145 which is a lot for my height (was 127 and gained a bunch of weight after a move) - we shorties don't have a lot of place to put the extra weight.
I think I'm in the mid-130s at this point- not sure but I'm focusing on losing fat and getting really strong and fit!
Sorry no pics but I'm glad I found this thread- made me happy to see people who succeeded on a journey similar to the one I'm on!0 -

I don't have any before pictures
But, I am 5'1" and weighed anywhere between 120 and 125 for the longest time. I never had to worry about what I ate (I was a dance for 15 years, and also did diving, track, cheerleading, dance team, etc. in high school, on top of working at a baseball stadium where I was on my feet the entire shift). When I graduated from college this past May, I realized I was gaining weight a lot quicker than I used to. I had stopped dancing, and got a cushy desk job at an engineering firm where I sit on my butt 10+ hours a day. My weight then skyrocketed to close to 140 in a matter of 3 months! (I'll admit the wine and margaritas didn't help much either!). I recently joined the iLoveKickboxing program at a martial arts school near my job and have been going 2 times a week but hope to up it to 3 times. My goal weight? 115lbs. I'm currently down 4 pounds in a month and a half (I wish it would happen quicker), but I'm hoping to hit my goal weight by my boyfriend and I's 1 year anniversary (in March). I will take pictures soon and post my progress!!
PS I visit these forums EVERY DAY to get the motivation I need to eat right and stay on track. Seeing everyone's amazing progress and reading their stories really lights the fire under my butt that I need. If people who have lost 100+ pounds can do it, hell, so can I!!! Keep up the good work everyone0
