Short girls- What is your goal weight?

I am 5'2".. For now to keep hubby happy I set my goal weight to 130. But I want to see what I look like when I get around 140'ish, etc. When I was 17/18, I was about 108 lbs and looked "thin" but still decent (as I recall, and we know how bad our memories can be about growing up lol!). According to MFP, my gw is anywhere between 101-131 for BMI healthy ranges though. So I am contemplating a little lower... maybe 120. I will have to wait til next year and see though. Still a lot to lose in the here and now. So I am not really worried/focused on my weigh 9 or 10 months from now0

I'm 4'11". I am going for 128....that is what my doctor suggest for my 66yrs. of age!0

I think the best way to decide what weight to be is to figure out what body fat percentage you want to be, rather than just using BMI (which doesn't work if you have very little lean mass or a lot of lean mass). I want to be back in the range of "athlete" and want my body fat percentage at 14%. Because I only have about 90 pounds of lean mass, that means my total weight will be about 107.5 at 5'5". At 18% (which is still athlete, but higher percentage) my body weight would be about 112. And, of course, if I end up gaining lean muscle in the process, I'll probably land around 117.0

barely 5'2" gw- 130lbs but I know when i get there I will probably be setting a new goal. I wouldn't go lower than 110 though I don't think0

I'm 5'3", and right now, my goal is 120 lbs, but really, as long as I look and feel healthy, and get to a low enough body fat %, I'll be satisfied.0

I'm only 4'11" and had to modify my goal. I wanted to be 110 b/c that was a reasonable weight that I had maintained before. However after lifting heavy and eating healthy I am down to a size 4 and weigh 130lbs. I would still like to lose at least another 5-10lbs. Any more than that and I wouldn't look right! :laugh:
Bump....I'm 5' 0.25" and my goal weight is between 125-130. I too have been lower but never with a lot of muscle and I looked thin. This time around with more muscle I think I'd look best between 125-130....but we'll see!0 -
I'm 5"1... currently 197. I haven't weighed less than 150 in over a decade, so I honestly have no idea what my goal weight is. I'm shooting for 130 but reserve the right to change my mind based on how I look. I feel like the bmi range for my height (115 - 132) may be unrealistic based on my frame. I am super solid, with giant legs and a large chest. It would be nice to get to 125 to have some wiggle room though!0

I'm 5'3" and I feel my best when i'm around 120-125 (I stay active, and used to do landscaping, so that's being fairly muscular). Any thinner than that and I feel like a stick figure! I got the most compliments on the way I look when I was round 125 lbs. I'll get back there before too long!!0

i am 5'3... my goal weight is 140; was around that in high school and felt great! also my drivers license weight would no longer be a lie :P0

I'm 4'11 and a 1/2". Currently 103.2 pounds with an ultimate goal weight of 100.0

I'm 5"2.5 and my goal weight is 140 (the highest end on those nonsense BMI scales) I went away to school and gained fifteen pounds and wish I could be back at 150 again because I remember how good I felt! But I also have an hourglass shape with curves I don't want to lose, so I think that I would be the most comfortable at 140.0

I go back and forth. When I was 118-120, I was pretty happy with my body...However I would like to be around 115 so that I have a little wiggle room.
I'm 5'3" by the way! Any shorties feel free to add me. I like to see what other people are eating to stay under their cals. For me to lose, I pretty much have to eat around 1200cals per day. It gets difficult this time of year!0 -

I dont wanna be skinny though so shall see what happens if i ever get to 140 (currently about 180)0 -
I'm 5'3.5" and I'd like my BMI to say "normal" which will be somewhere around 140 or 142 pounds. I have absolutely no desire to be skinny, I just want to be healthier -- and I definitely already am. 30 pounds to go.0

I'm 5'2" and when I felt my best (and looked pretty darn good, too!) I was 133-136. 8 1/2 years and 2 kids later, I'm shooting for 135-140!0

I am 5'0 and I'd like to get down to 110, but my first goal is 115.
In the past, I've weighed as little as 93lbs, but I'm 37 and a mom now,
and I'll be more than happy if I can maintain myself at 110-115.0 -
I'm 5 foot even and my goal weight is 115 - 120. And of course I wanna be in perfect shape to be that small.. I haven't seen 120 since I was 16 and got pregnant with my first baby. Baby weight is the hardest to loose. Anyone have any ideas or tips that will help me out. I need to tone up my arms, legs, butt, and tummy along with the major weight loss.0

I'm 4'11" and my goal weight is around 100 lbs. If I get to 104 and am satisfied with how I look/feel then I may change my goal. I've been at that weight not long ago. However, I wasn't working out (skinny fat). I currently weigh 109 and still have a big ring of pudge around my middle (mostly noticeable when I'm sitting - not so much when standing). I want to get rid of it.0

I'm 5'2". I'm 115 and have been between 115 and 120 since I was 15. My weight does not change much even when my body composition changes, so I'm hoping to maintain my weight, but lose a few inches on my stomach.0
