What to add to tuna to keep low fat/calories low?

This will make for absolutely killer breath, but I typically eat my tuna with olive oil (barely a tsp tbh), chopped raw onions and chopped raw garlic. Occasionally with some tomatoes and mushrooms.
Not overly creamy though.0 -
5 oz can tuna
1/2 an avocado (2 oz)
2 Tbsp salsa
lemon juice
dill
mix well mashed together
top a salad with it and balsamic dressing.0 -

I definitely need to try the Greek Yogurt option like everyone says. I bought some Fage Plain Greek Yogurt and would like to try it out. How much do you put into a regular 6-7oz can of tuna, and how long does it stay if you don't eat it all at once?0

I use sour cream. Either the Trader Joe's low fat one or the Lilly Light Sour Cream. the TJ's one has 15 calories per 30g (two tablespoons) and Lilly's has 33 calories per 30g. Both are all natural but the Lilly's tastes better.
And then I mix in sriracha and sometimes about 1oz of avocado.0 -
For a regular can of tuna, I start with around 2 teaspoons and up it from there depending on what I put with it.
If I'm doing the buffalo tuna, I'll use 1 teaspoon yogurt, 1 teaspoon franks, and adjust from there.0 -
I pour a bit of Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing (lite) over it and it's delish!0

I love adding apples and jalepeno to tuna, with just enough light olive oil mayo to keep it together. I know it sounds weird, but try it, it's really good. I like putting it on a toasted cinnamon raisin or corn english muffin.0

I usually use a tablespoon of lite mayo, a few teaspoons of dijon mustard and some horseradish, or just some horseradish mustard.0

i use a mixture of mayo/mustard, a dill pickle (almost no cals) and an egg0

I love Kraft Mayo w/olive oil. Naturally lower in fat and still tastes amazing. I decided a long time ago I was never giving up mayo, lol.0

This is probably going to sound weird but I keep low sodium tuna packets in my office and a bag of Wasabi peas. I feel like I'm choking the tuna down but when I add some of the Wasabi peas it adds some crunch and the heat makes me drink more water. I actually like it this way now and am happy to get the low cal protein!0

I make myself a little tuna salad with tomatoes, white onions, a little oil, basil leaves, ground red pepper and some lowfat mozz cheese. Usually ill eat it out of the bowl, or sometimes ill put them on whole grain crackers!0

somewhere I read you can use ricotta cheese (regular or low-fat) in place of mayo. Haven't tried it yet but I like the idea. It also helps you meet your calcuim requirement!0

I add an apple, relish, yellow mustard (or whatever I have), celery, onions...and a smidge of miricle whip...but I need to try the greek yogert!

For those of you folks on the East coast who have access to Wegmans stores, they have (in the produce section) various flavors of this absolutely delicious, low calorie, low fat yogurt dressings. For example, Honey Poppy, Blue Cheese, Thousand Island, Lemon Vinegarette, Honey mustard, Curried something or other, etc. etc. Any one of those could be added to tuna and KA-BAM, WATCH OUT TASTEBUDS!!!0

I just use the mayonaise with olive oil. Healthier than "light" mayo and tastes a lot better. I tried greek yogurt but it was NASTY. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of greek yogurt!0
