Now that I've lost the weight, what to do with the hair?!

Now that I've reached my goal weight, I am desperate to do something new with my hair. I am contemplating about going really short.

Any and all feedback is appreciated!!

    Long!! Shoulder length maybe if you want to just spice things up. I would try highlights first or some fun colors before chopping it off. That makes a big difference too! Go to a salon!!

    Long layers! I think you'd look amazing with a fringe (bangs) and maybe some highlights? you'd look soo fantastic with curly hair arghh i'm jealous (;

    Leave it long, maybe trim it a little just to have it different length. Also, try long sweeping bangs.
    You have beautiful hair!

    Keep it long! Maybe layer it or something. But it looks good long!

    Nooooo, don't cut it!

    <---- This WAS my hair. I "trimmed" it and almost cried.

    Just dye it, style it differently, or get some bangs.

    You seem to have a pretty long face (like mine) and fairly thin hair, so adding some width helps to balance out the shape and mak your hair appear thicker. I would probably go with keeping most of your length (cut off any unhelthy dead ends) and then lots of layers to add some width. You could definitely pull off some side swept bangs or even a wispy full set of bangs. A glossy dark chocolate semi-permanant hair dye would make your hair look shiny and healthy :)

    It looks very pretty long. I don't think I'll ever go short again... the in between stages are too annoying.

    I'd suggest a few inches off the length and some long layers, starting with maybe some face framing and longer bangs. You have a very long face, so the solid one length only drags it down. You need something to widen it a bit, and give your hair shape and movement.

    If you wanna go really short, go for it! I think you'd look great! I just cut my hair really short a couple days ago (even though I haven't reached my goal weight yet) because I missed having short hair and I'm glad I did! Soooo much easier to take care of! (Pic in profile btw.)

    I think you should ask around and find a hairstylist you trust, maybe by checking with other people you know who have awesome hair, and then go tell that person you want a makeover and let them use their professional judgment. A good hairstylist will really look at your hair and your bone structure to come up with a look that makes the most of your features.

    If you cut it and regret it, it would be a long time to get it back to where you want it. I'd chop off say a third at most and get layers cut in. Still long enough to enjoy, but with a different look to it.

    How about since you've done something great for yourself (yay for the weight loss), doing something for someone else? I, for instance, am going to donate my hair to Locks of Love (http://www.locksoflove.org/)...my sister's doing the same. :)

    I know pretty much every time I cut my hair I regret it, but whatever you want. Awesome job on 125 pound weight loss!!!! I looked at your profile and your transformation is amazing! Way to go!!!!

    Awesome idea!! This is my plan, too. I'm feeling selfish, though. I have more than enough to cut and donate, but I keep holding off so it will be a little longer when I do cut it.
