I'm thankful that I am a stubborn woman that won't give up no matter what. B/c despite losing nothing so far this month; I am just working harder. I am eating between 50-75% raw; some days are better than others. Trying to keep dairy out and meat to a minimum. I still have time....there's still 2 more weigh ins (okay so 5 lbs might not be possible, but I'll take any). Oh and I've picked up another neighborhood walker; so M-W-Fs at noon with one neighbor and T-Th's at 6pm with another...just an added benie
I haven't lost a pound yet either, I'm still 115. I think it's fine to lose slowly when you are at a lowish weight already. I remember when I was initially losing weight that there would regularly be 3 weeks of nothing before I would lose a pound, but it was still consistent on that schedule. I am trying to just stick with eating healthy and not give up, just like you said.0 -

Today I'm Thankful that I've finally broke the plateau I've been stuck on for over a month and I know 0.6 lbs isn't a lot but right now I'd take a loss of an ounce as a success. BTW - I also lost 1/2 inch off my hips and 1/4 inch of my thighs....I noticed this week that my running pants keep falling down. WHOO-HOO!! :happy: Okay, running pants falling down isn't really a good thing...while running that is, but in the scheme of things....I just need smaller pants. :bigsmile:
The other thing I'm thankful for today, is even though we cannot spend this Thanksgiving with our family who are far away or with our son who is overseas; we are able to open our home to friends that also have no where to go and no one to spend the this holiday with. So we will share it together.0 -

I like this idea too! I don't know lbs so will all have to be in kg (2.2kg = 5lbs). Have only been on MFP for afew weeks but have a goal of January 26 for my sister's wedding... don't think I'll get to 68kg by then but will give it a good go!

I am thankful that I have a body that allows me to walk, talk, dance, lift things, type, enjoy normal cuddles and "bouncy cuddles", run, swim, cycle and anything else I might decide to do. I'm very lucky and will continue to appreciate my body for all of the things it allows me to do, not just because it doesn't fit into a certain sized dress or can't do some other things. That said, I'm also thankful I've taken the opportunity to make it stronger, fitter and more healthy - so that it can continue to serve me well for years to come.0 -

Creeping down slowly but surely. Gonna start exercising again once school is over December 4th. I exercised the most during June/July and that's where the weight was coming off the fastest but I need to change over from cardio to strength training. I'm not really unhappy at the weight I'm at now, which is the upper end of healthy BMI but I felt the best around 125-130. Maybe I'd feel better at 10 pounds more if it was more fat/less muscle. Well I'm just gonna keep on this journey.0
