You, quite simply, put the awe in awesome.
That is such an inspiring story and I LOVE your attitude0 -
I have been wanting to run, but my doctor has told me not to run until I get at least 30 lbs off because if I start now it will tear my knees up (no previous knee injuries). This makes me think "why not!" Good job!
If you have no knee injuries and decide to run "against" Drs advice, tape yourself up with K tape b4 u go out. (can b purchased sat runner's stoes)0 -
Thanks for posting this, you are a true inspiration! I started C25K yesterday, your story will push me to keep going!

That's amazing! We all have to start somewhere and you have accomplished a TERRIFIC feat that most people wouldn't even DARE dream about taking on (and I'm talking people who weigh in the 150 lbs range). So chin up friend - YOU ARE AWESOME!! Doesn't matter how fast or slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch. Keep it up!! The more you lose, the faster you get. The faster you get, the longer runs you'll do. The longer runs you do, the stronger you'll get. The stronger you'll get, the more you'll want to accomplish. This includes 10Ks and half marathons. Trust me. YOU. CAN. DO. IT. Mind over matter!!0

THANK YOU for this post! I started out at 346.4 and I'm now down to 311.8. Finished week 5 of C25K yesterday and wept at the end of the 20 minute jog, amazed that my body was able to do that! Can't wait to run my first 5K and I'd love to eventually run in a 1/2 marathon. Keep up the AMAZING work!0

These are the posts that I LOVE TO SEE!
I am so proud of you! You are an inspiration to many people now. You SHOULD be proud of yourself! I just ran a 5K for the first time a week ago at 140lbs. I've lost 40 and I KNOW I couldn't have done it before the weight loss. For you to push through and finish is amazing and awe-inspiring to say the least.
Again, congats and keep up the hard/awesome work!0 -
