Why do you workout? REALLY? What is it you think about and want from it?

Alot of people dont say it and wont admit it. Me I do it for the looks`. I want women to check me out as i check them out. The great health and feeling good about yourself are just things that come with it HAHA.

The real reason is because I want to look hot in order to attract the opposite sex. That is the primary reason. But, obviously, there are lots of other benefits too.
  • so i can eat more. not even joking.

Something deep down inside of me knows that some how, some way, adding a quarter inch to my biceps is going to prove useful.

I actually enjoy the physical movements of the weights, It is a stress reliever. And of course girls like the way it looks. I think men look better muscular, so that what I shoot for.

    BEAST!

I want to reverse the effects of having 3 children

my oldest is mentally ill, I need to be able to dominate and control the situation when he isnt in control.

I have a history of depression, and that in addition to having a SN child, means that I NEED cardio.

I kind of like the feeling of accomplishment when I do something I didn't think I could do ( like setting a new PR for squats)

To me it is pretty much equal parts wanting to look good, and wanting to be healthy/fit/strong (as someone who had bad injuries I am probably more motivated by health and wanting to maintain mobility as I age than someone who hasn't experienced that). I started having to do exercises to recover, and when I saw how much of a difference it made in how I felt, it made me want to continue.

I also workout so I can do things like go hiking all day carrying a backpack without embarassing myself around fitter people.

I want to look hot. End of story.
  • I have 3 reasons
    1. I am too young not to be totally cute
    2. I don't wanna get winded when I go for short walks anymore
    3. In case the zombies are the running kind and not the slowly ambling kind

It makes me feel worth something...like I can achieve goals, even if they're small. I had never felt before that I could do the things I can do now. I have become a much happier person, and I work out to stay that way. And so I don't have arm flab anymore, I hate that.

OK, serious style though, I do it so that if I ever truly need to fight, I can seriously injure my opponent. True story. I am tiny and full of rage.

    1. To get stronger.
    2. To release stress
    3. To feel like I have accomplished something every day
    4. Because I have been trying to get to goal weight for 3 years now and i shouldve been there already. No excuses.

I used to do it because I felt I had to do it to lose weight
Then after the weight I kept doing it b/c I liked the results and liked seeing the definition
Now I do it because I need it for my sanity. When I'm running I can empty my mind, think about nothing and just listen to my music and RUN. When lifting I think about each muscle and how I want it to look in my mind - one day I may get there.

I want to look good nekkid and yes, I don't mind the attention from people who notice my hardwork. Overall working out makes me feel great; more confidence, more energy, more euphoria, more.... overall well being - mind and body!
