    there is nothing wrong in talking with someone...this is a weight loss site not Match.com....my conversations with my friends are weight loss orientated...I don't cross the line of F my marriage over some Internet crap!

    Lots of hentai in Japan apparently. I always hear of stories on the trains, too, of guys groping women indiscriminately.
    While I was studying in Japan, I lived with a host family in a small town in Yokohama. There was a French African guy who stopped to talk to me one day while walking from the train, which I didn't find weird because we both stood out being among the few non-Japanese in the area.

    He said he wanted to be friends and I was like, 'Uh... okay?' and then he asked for my phone number. I told him I didn't have a cell phone (only a half lie, as I didn't have a Japanese cell phone) and so he asked for my email. And by asked I mean he would not take no for an answer.

    Then he asked if he could follow me home.

    I told him I really had to go and started walking away. He was just staring at me. And staring. AND STARING. I ran into the nearest convenience store, taking a bit of comfort in the fact that I know how to say "Help me" and "Pervert" in Japanese. I waited in there for a few minutes until I was sure he was gone, then ran home. Luckily that was the last I saw of him.

    OH WAIT HE TOTALLY STOPPED ME ON THE STREET AGAIN THIS TIME WITH A GROUP OF HIS FRIENDS.

    After I was divorced..that was 30 years ago, my ex-husband stalked me...I got a call from him on Christmas eve (the first year)...he said that he was "fighting with the spirit of murder"....I moved right away to a different town about 100 miles away...and met him half way whenever he wanted to see the kids... he ended up finding where I lived in that town, so I moved even farthur away, to the ONLY PLACE HE WOULDN'T FOLLOW, Los Angeles, CA...I stayed there for about 6 years...then I moved to AZ, and I give NOBODY my home address...I have a PO BOX...I'm finally free of him.....

    Been stalked by at least 3 different people. The last guy was married with this huge neck tattoo that was his and his wife's names with a heart shaped padlock. He just creeped me out.

    I was stalked by the maintenance guy at my apartment building. A tad awkward when the stalker has keys to your home.

    Well I haven't been stalked but I have done my fair share of stalking on FB, if I want something I go for it and I usually get what I want at the end :)

    Stalked by my ex-husband. Got a restraining order. Those things are worthless. :/

    I was stalked by my ex. we dated for 5 months the first two he was a dream then he turned into an *kitten* and the last straw was he pushed me into a dresser, I broke up. after two weeks he started blowing up my phone when I changed my number he started hanging around my job and parking outside my house. one day he was in my front yard and started to cut himself and said he would kill himself if I didn't work things out with him. I called the cops, moved and changed my job. Haven't heard from him since.

    It's happened off MFP for me, yes. It's always unnerving and sometimes it goes a little too far, in which case you need to know who to contact / what your next steps should be.

    On MFP, there was a guy sending me messages regarding things I'd post about on the forums even though I'd never reply to him. When he sent a friend request I told him to back off and he did.

    IRL, I had a secret admirer once that liked to leave gifts/letters at my house...but it never turned in to anything scary. It was high school and a small town. Where I lived wasn't a big secret.

    yeah I have a real life stalker we call Strawberry. Thankfully I moved but I recently saw him on the sidewalk in my old neighborhood and he followed us from a block away for a mile and a half walk. He isnt violent or anything but he liked to climb up to my second story window and tap tap tap at least once a week for a couple months and greet me in the morning with like 2 quarts of strawberries and ding dong ditch and harass my roommates to put in a good word for him.

    Id like to meet the grandpa that started the lie when he told his cocky socially awkward grandson that women just really want a persistent guy. That was not good advice. We only like persistent guys that we were hot for previous to the persistence.

    Oh yes! When my boyfriends ex learned we were dating, she created a profile here. She tried to friend him (of course he didn't accept) and she follows us in the forums and typically posts wherever we do. Thing is, she has horrible writing, spelling, and punctuation skills, so no one knows what in the heck she's trying to say anyway! :laugh:

    We both have her blocked so she can't PM us and we wonder when or if she'll get a life and stop following us on here...

    Yup. Had one message me constantly and then somehow find my phone number and would call but not say anything. It was scary and annoying.
