Guilty! I've found so many new recipes on there. Granted I still Google recipes, but it's nice to wander through Pinterest not looking for anything in particular and have something totally strike your fancy!!0

Pinterest is a drug! I have so many craft and home projects lined up, I'll be busy until 2016!0

Guilty! I love that when I see an idea I can pin it so I don't forget for a later date and it keeps me from having to remember where I saw something. I am also one of those who has created "the board" to keep track of the things I have tried.0

If I has $1 for every wedding idea I've pinned, I could pay off the national debt.0

I love Pinterest, but I do have to laugh at myself and the irony of how I pin one thing about health and fitness and the next pin is one about a very fattening cheesecake....maybe one day after I lose the weight I can eat the cheesecake!!!0

Guilty as charged! It's so addicting!! BUT....the pictures of all the delicious recipes make my mouth water and the DIY crafts makes me feel like I could put that together...and 9 times out of 10 it never looks like it's supposed to. LOL.
I once stumbled across a website that posted people's pinterest projects that didn't quite turn out like the pin. It was pretty funny. I can't remember what it was though.
I love pinterest. I use it to pin fashion (although not as much as I thought I would), recipes (a lot - and I have made quite a few of them), workout ideas/tips that I want to incorporate at a later time. I've pinned home decor ideas. I am actually working on a series of paintings based on some items I pinned for decorating. It's so much easier than having 50 trillion bookmarks to sort through. I can go ok, I need a dinner recipe. I go to my dinner board and see pics and decide what looks good. Rather then read through a ton of bookmarks trying to find somehting.0 -
Wish they had a "did" button on Pinterest0

Let's just say if pinning was a work out then I would be ripped!0

LOVEEEE IT. However, just tried to use it, and it won't let me repin anything. Weird. Must be a temp bug.0

Kinda....I only have 1400 pins, but I feel I'm a success because I have more followers than I follow. My mother in law has over 50k pins. Now she is addicted. She is a hoarder in real life, so I should not be surprised.0

Hehe I was addicted the first day I went on it0

I am wearing my "cut t-shirt scarf" as I type this  My husband looks at it this morning and says...I don't know that I like that - it looks like a cut up t-shirt...I told him to stuff it!!0

THIS. Exactly this! My husband calls me Pinterest Queen on a regular basis0 -
::raising hand:: Addict here. I use it to pin recipes and beauty/fashion stuff. Every week I make one new Pinterest recipe and have found so many that the family loves. Even found some that were complete duds. LOL.
I get on nightly during my wind-down time before bed.
But like someone else said, I think its funny when I pin a healthy recipe or a workout, then turn around and pin something with a gazillion calories.0 -
Yes, Yes, Oh Yes! I really Dig the workouts!0

I DID THE T-SHIRT Scarf too!!!!!0 -
potential time suck that could be used for more productive things.
Except for the fact that I've found countless healthy recipes on Pinterest, learned how to clean the house with fewer chemicals and found some nice things to decorate my home. Plus, it makes for a nice distraction when traveling. We can't all work and workout 24/7/365.
AMEN SISTER!!!0 -
i just went to a Pinterest party on Saturday!! LOVE it!
I love it too...I've found some cool *kitten* on that site!
My BFF hosted. We brought supplies (if you wanted) and an idea to make something. She had food and wine. We started at 6 and ended at 1am. We made cards, ornaments, ruffled tree skirt, clay figures. We did have Pinterest open in case we needed it.0 -
*Waves* I'm not a very crafty person, but I use mine for recipes, oragnizing ideas, and science stuff. There's several things I've found on there that I use around the house that have been very handy. A while back, the "Crap Basket" pin was popular. I used that one and not only do I not know how I lived without it, I wonder why I didn't come up with it myself. Some of the things on there are brilliantly simple.

I like it for the fitness inspiration mainly. (Although one of the people I've subscribed to is too much into running for my liking.)0

Only two blokes including myself said they are on Pinterest. Oops.0 -
Today I used a pin from Pinterest to make leg warmers out of sweaters for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. Hubs said "Hands off mine!" (lol) so I went to Value Village and got some $3.99 sweaters, cut off the arms, hemmed them, added an elastic piece for under each foot, and voila! Saw them at a craft show this past weekend for $15/pair. LOVIN' the $aving$!0

I think that has to do with the fact that when someone hears Pinterest, they automatically think "crafts". But, anyone on it knows that it can be so much more. I know quite a few guys who are on it, but I don't think they would reply to this thread. I'm kind of a tomboy, so personally I like a little testosterone in my pin mix.0
