Food wise, my healthy(ish) obsession is rice, diced tomatoes, sausage, onions, french green beans (with a crunch to them.) and carrots sometimes added.
Exercise wise, it's jogging 20 minutes straight at 4.5 speed. Buuut, I do love the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred too!
How about y'all?

Green tea, fruit, yoghurt, dark chocolate, green veggies, cold chilli roasted salmon, olive oil, healthy egg-fried rice, tomato-based pasta meals, OATMEAL, soy milk, baked potatoes, bean stews, RAW 'NAKD' BARS...I love it ALL!
I love the 30 day shred, running, walking, yoga...anything healthy makes me feel so good inside and makes me look good outside My problem is with my UNhealthy obsessions (Chinese take-out, nachos, milk chocolate truffles, pizza, cream-laden fresh pies and cakes and creamy pasta dishes, excessive amounts of fresh bread with real butter, cappuccinos, chewing gum etc etc...)
Now that I'm in maintenance its all about striking a balance!0 -
Food-wise: Bananas and Sweet Potatoes
Exercise-wise: I guess that would be just exercising in general haha0 -
Natural peanut butter- especially mixed with cottage cheese or with banana and honey on wheat toast! All day, erry day.
Exercise weights its got to be free weights, right now I'm loving shoulder presses, they make me feel like a beast!0 -
Kashi crunchy granola bars, either Roasted Almond or Pumpkin Spice Flax. At least I HOPE they're healthy because I'm addicted and keep several boxes on stock at all times. If I'm running low I immediately stock up again. It's actually the main staple of my diet.0

Food of the season: apples, and homemade chicken soup
Exercise: Boxing. I think this really does qualify as an obsession for me. I will let other things slide and plan my day around boxing . I'll do double classes if I have a free day and enough energy... that's three hours of super high intensity. I come home and give my boyfriend recaps. It's pretty cultish. Funny things is, I'm not even very good.0 -
Lately I'm crazy about this thingies!

Veggies. Green ones, yellow ones, leafy ones, stodgy old fashioned ones, weird exotic ones - the works. Steamed, baked, roasted, broiled, grilled, stir fried, raw, with sauces, with flavour accents, completely naked, by themselves, in dishes, snuck in where you'd least expect them..........0

None. =( Every day it's a struggle to eat healthy and make myself work out. I was born to be a bum that eats snack cakes!
I can relate. It's really hard for me to make/eat healthy when I literally grew up eating fast food, pizza, doritos and mt dew. Mt dew is STILL my biggest hurdle. What makes it harder is that everyone I live with is still very very unhealthy and I feel like I don't have their support.0 -
food & drink - fresh cilantro - recently discovered that I really, really enjoy it! And green tea - I really miss it now, if I don't have it with my lunch.
exercise - If someone had told me 1 year ago that I would take up running, and actually look forward to it, I would have thought they were nuts. But I find that I genuinely look forward to it - I love the mental benefits.0 -

Oh my yes. I'm with you too. And Mt Dew - I once made a Christmas tree constructed from the Mt Dew cans I drank in a year - it was 8 ft tall composed of over 1000 cans. All my food related obsessions are bad bad bad. It will take some time to develop replacement habits and even obsessions after decades of a very unhealthy rut. Thankfully my family is supportive. I'm sorry you have to deal with the unhealthy influences.0 -

Food: Baked/grilled fish, usually cod or pollock. I eat it for dinner with some green vegetables, and take the leftovers the next day for lunch, eaten cold on a big bed of salad greens. Not sure if this is going to wane now that the weather is getting colder.
Exercise: Running 4 miles at an 8 minute mile pace, then doing 30 minutes of strength work on the TRX. Love getting sweaty--my favorite workout right now!0 -
