To weigh daily or not to weigh daily

I weigh daily to keep an eye on it but I only record it once a week.0

Like the poster above, I weight daily but I really "use" my weekly figure to adjust my HRM, caloric intake, etc.
People mentioned the daily fluctuation as a reason not to weigh in daily, but I see that as a reason to weigh in daily. I'd hate the one day a week I chose to be an "off" day (probably because of high sodium the day before or not enough water) that had a skewed result. I don't really mind a pound or two fluctuation each day, but if it becomes a pattern (e.g. going up each day) for more than three or four days in a row, I try to figure out what's going on.0
