You can definitely see the difference. I have been in your position many times myself. I started this journey at 272 in Febraury of 2007. I am just now at 193.9. It takes time and seeing the photos will help.0

I think you look FANTASTIC!! :flowerforyou:
keep it up and remind yourself of all of the reasons you're doing this... I have to constantly remind myself that I'm worth it to live longer and be healthier and stronger...I started the beginning of this year, lost 32lbs in 4 months, was on a ROLL... then, my mom passed away... I've been trying and trying to get back into it... it's not easy, but you have all of us here for motivation and strength. I'm having to remind myself of that too..
KEEP IT UP GIRL! AND KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH!!0 -
YOU LOOK SO GREAT! Just think what you are not only going to look like in the next 3 months, but how you are going to FEEL!!!!!! You can totally do this! Keep at it! Don't give up on yourself! You have come this far on your own! What a great accomplishment!0

you look wonderful . I get discouraged too. Lot's of things help (but not overeating!). One of my favorite sayings: inch by inch life's a cinch....yard by yard life is hard (or another one......just for today I will stick to my food and exercise plan and not worry about tomorrow). Also it helps to remember that for each pound I lose it takes 3 pounds of impact off of my arthritic knee -- so my 48 pounds is really 144 pounds off of my painful knee! Hope that helps. -- (also, non food treats (like a bubble bath) are great when I get discouraged.0

You look awesome, and 46lbs is a TON of weight! When you post pics, you're an inspiration to all of us who are trying to do the same thing. So thank you, and keep it up0

There's a huge difference on your waist!! Well done, keep going!0

Wow, 46 pounds in 3 months is impressive (:0

Why do you think you're feeling discouraged? Is it because you are "missing" the foods you used to eat or the amount you used to eat? If those thoughts come in your mind, try to focus on the weight you've lost. 46 lbs in 3 months is AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing your success, maybe it'll spur someone else (me) on. Stick with it. Switch up what you're eating if you're used to eating the same things.0

awesome,,,,keep it up:)0

YOU ARE LOOKING AMAZING!!!! I agree with what was said above...not only have u lost alot of weight but u are an inspiration to anyone who sees this!!!0

You're doing wonderfully!
Sometimes we need a break. Some people suggest eating at maintenance for awhile occasionally. If you aren't motivated to keep going, can you at least stay at maintenance for a bit? Let your body get used to its new, lower weight, catch your breath and then when you're ready continue on.
Know that we all have good and bad times. It's important to not always expect everything to go smoothly.0 -
Great progress, you look wonderful! Such an inspiration (:0

you're doing great! you can definitely see a difference. keep up the great work!0

Wow, I have been on here for 155 days and have only lost 19 pounds. 46 pounds is an awesome success!!!! Congratulations!!!0
-
Girl, first let me say: HOW WONDERFUL ARE YOU???? You have already lost over 15% (almost 20%) of your weight!! WOO-HOO!!
I have read several places that sometimes you need to "jump start" the weight loss again by changing up your calorie intake, or change the type of exercise you do.
But...something else, did you take your measurements when you started? So often the scale does not move; yet, we have the NSV (non-scale victory) of getting smaller even though the scale doesn't change.
Let me say: KEEP IT UP!! It WILL come off!!0 -
Huge difference! Great work.
I just hit 46 lb lost and felt the same thing. I looked at my before and current pic side by side and it reminded me that there is difference. I think the compliments slow down around this time and it has become so routine that it is less exciting internally. I set myself a new goal of hitting 50lbs before the end of the year and that reinvigorated me. I'm losing much slower than you though. I've been at it since April (I started on MFP in August).0 -
Looking good!0

Hey - you're doing amazingly well! You've lost more weight in 3 months as I did in a year! You should be very proud! Well done!0

46 lbs is an amazing accomplishment, but I can tell from your post that you're not ready to be done. Find your inner strength to keep this journey going. Maybe set new goals, create a vision board with pictures of your favorite outfits, a country you'd like to visit, or a home you'd like to buy someday. It doesn't have to be fitness related. It could be something that reminds you that you are goal oriented, that are determined and driven. That you can do this! I have faith in you and I think your name is perfect, you are a natural beauty and your health is beauty as well. Don't give up on that natural beauty.

You can do this! By gosh you already have! Keep on keeping on girl, so awesome and inspiring!0

46 lbs in 3 months is very good progress indeed. There is much about your progress to be encouraged by. But I understand being discouraged after a while. The initial excitement of doing something about your weight, the evidence that it's working, and all that was so encouraging when you started begins to wane. The routine becomes a drudgery and you feel like you'll never get there. Like another poster said, you need to figure out why you're feeling discouraged. Figure it out and face it and remind yourself of the progress you've already made. It's encouraging that you reached out to MFP at this time though. So many people try to hide when they're feeling discouraged. It's a good sign that you are turning to others who understand to help you through. You can do this. You've already proven that you can. Just keep with it.0

You look great!!! It can get discouraging at times but that is when you are being tested. Remember how far you have come and not how far you want to go!
Congratulations on a wonderful achievement!:flowerforyou:0
