So I finally got around to trying this, yuck! Could not even finish 1/2 a one, I then tried drowning it in maple syrup and was marginally better but not tasty at all. Really hoped that I would like this0

Instead of adding the apples to my pancakes, I chop up 1-2 servings of fruit in a bowl and soften in the microwave with cinnamon instead until it's hot, bubbly and there's enough juice to make a sauce. Served over top it replaces the need for added butter or syrup. And no additional cals
