    Good morning,

Well, today it's pouring rain outside.
My plan for today is to go to the running room and get fitted for a new pair of running shoes. Mine are giving me blisters on occasion and I think my feet have shrunk since losing weight (may be the reason I'm now getting blisters). Anyhow, I'm also going to get a new pairs of Capri's for running and a double water bottle holder cuz I'm tired of holding my bottle (I can't stash it like Kechie, lol). Gonna spend a ton of money but everything is required for happy running.

    Have a great day all!!

How often do you take a day off? I know my body needs it but I get such a mental boost from exercising it is a challenge today NOT to exercise!

Sounds like fun Mireille. I love shopping. Especially for running gear. Enjoy!

I run 5 days a week and rest 2 days. "Rest" is supposed to mean cross training but I don't usually. Sometimes I'll get out for a neighborhood stroll.

I'll be plenty active today. I am about to paint in my home. Then, I'll head out for some shopping and errands.

I am scheduled for an 8 mile run tomorrow so I need my "rest".

    Enjoy the day

    I'm so excited!!!
I just bought a new pair of Asics runners, a great sports bra that ties like a regular bra, a water bottle holder and a pair of dry fit Capri's.

The good news is I saved over $50 because the running room has 20% coupons on the box of the $4 Vector cereal!! Best $4 I've ever spent!!

I can't wait to go running tomorrow!!!

I had a great run this am, first one is 3 weeks so I took it easy, I guess. 4 miles in 45 so I can't complain!

Happy Saturday everyone! I just got back from a ten mile run. I ran it in 11 minute miles (which is good for me) and I got rained on quite a bit, but it still felt good. Now I'm going to go do some stretching. Have a great weekend everybody!

Ten miles is great no matter how fast you run it! Good going!

I set out to run a short couple miles, but spotted some yard sales (which I'm a sucker for) in my neighborhood. Of course I had to stop. Long story short, I didn't end up running more than about 1.5 miles. But I got some good deals! :ohwell:

I'll make up for it on Monday.
