Jillian Michaels

I just finished Jillian Michael's Extreme Shed and Shred and thought it was a pretty good workout. I was dripping sweat and out of breath afterwards. I guess I was just wondering if anyone has tried this DVD and what their results were like.

I am that type of person who would rather work out in the privacy of my own home. So if anyone has any other videos they'd like to share please do!

    I'm a big fan of Jillian Micheals. I started with the 30 Day Shred ( I am 70% finished after starting and stopping about 5 times!) And it's really great. It's only 20 minutes but it's really great, she works everything. By the end I am wobbling and want to cry sometimes.

    I've also tried a yoga workout she has, but just to warn you, it's not like any yoga you've done.. lol.. it's like... a hard workout with various yoga position. That one is 40 minutes long and I couldn't finish it.

    Then there's Killer Buns and Thighs. Also I think 40 minutes long, and I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes. She is brutal that woman, but like she says, she gets results.

    Also, THE BIGGEST LOSER starts again on January 6th! :)

    I was hooked on Jillian too until I tried Bob Harper's DVDs. He uses heavier weights and I love his workouts- try them!

    I have the 30day shred nad ripped in 30. I am seeing reults with 30day shred but Ive cleaned up my eating alot too...Have only sampled the ripped in 30 because i had it...but I want to finish the shred first...I love it :)
  • I did the 30 ds and actually completed it I loved it, now I'm doing her ripped in 30 and am on day 6 today and absolutely love it, Once I get in shape enough to not tototally dye of embarrassment I want to join the gym to start lifting to get more toned.
  • 6 week 6 pack is a really good one. I did 30 day shred and I have a couple of the others but 6/6 is good. Maybe try 30 day shed and then 6/6.

    I'm on day 3, week 4 of Ripped in 30.... you really see AMAZING results with this one!! It has also helped me drop 5lb in 3 weeks too :-)

    I've done 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, Kickbox FastFix, 6 Week 6 Pack, and am currently working through Killer Abs. Her DVDs are very good, you just have to stick with it when you want to quit. :smile:

    Hi, I have one day left to finish level 3 of 30 DS. I have probably averaged two workouts then a rest so it has taken me closer to 2 months to do. I luv it, the differences I can see in my body tone are certainly what has kept me going with this. I still have a fair bit of work to do so will continue in December to do all three levels and alternate them. Ripped in 30 may be the next if I think I can cope.
