Skinnyfat before and after

Hi all

I posted before in the heavy lifting thread but couldn't find before pics

Well I found some,
They aren't perfect, I only willingly posed for full body pics when drunk before I started my new lifestyle, but I think it does show how lifting heavy weights can help get rid of "Skinny Fat"

This pictures are about 3.5 months apart. I did no cardio. Lifted 4 to 5 times a week with the heaviest weights I could progressively going up whenever I could, eating maintainence calories of good, whole food and drinking plenty of water.

I am not near finished yet, I am now focusing on building my muscle and eating a surplus. However I think I've made some headway. I hope you all can too!

Again- I was drunk. Sorry about the gesture

As you can see in the before pics I held a lot of weight on my stonach and have lost inches off my waist now. It ain't perfect but it's a definite improvement

I couldn't reccomend it more, being a cardio hater in general it works for me! Plus you get an amazing high from lifting!

Oh my gosh, if that doesn't convince me to hit the weight room nothing will, you look amazing!!! I'm skinny fat now, I'd like to get to where you're at!

Thanks again so much everyone :D

    ChancellorK- BMO! That's Mathematical!

Derpina- I didn't have a specified program, but the most important things for me are doing compound exercises such as dead lifts and squats, then incorporating other exercises from there, pull downs, presses extensions etc. I recommend seeing a trainer for at least one session to begin with- just make sure they show you free weights instead of machines!
I do a little bit of core work also, I like bicycles, planks and leg lifts. However I feel the squats and dead lifts did more for my tummy/waist than anything else did

You look amazing, im heavy lifting at the moment. I follow Chalean Extreme DVDs. I was wondering should I incorporate more cardio, as when I was doing just cardio on its own I saw more difference on the scales, but doing lifting I have seen more results in body shape. You say you did no cardio at all?

And it's yet more evidence that starting weights is the right thing for me to do from now.
