I find that a banana will keep me full for a while. Especially if I eat a little peanut butter with it.

Probably rice or a banana since you don't need to rinse them off or scrub excess dirt off of them. They come pretty clean already!

    Beans. Or beans and rice.

Sweet potatoes are pretty much better in every way, IMO.

More filling, tastier - and you can't make chips out of rice.

Sweet Potato by far is the most filling. You get the most bang for your buck with them.

I agree on the sweet potato. I added half of a medium one to my baked chicken/fish and non starchy vegetable this week and it's made a huge difference!

you miss out on some of the best parts of the potato by peeling them. have you tried just eating the skin too?

Sweet potato - with some pastured butter it is filling and highly nutritious. Even white potatoes have good nutrition to them. More the rice. Nothing clean about brown rice. White rice is a clean carb (or safe starch). But not brown due to the toxic outer shell. Nothing "clean" about grain carbs.

Of course this is my opinion (based on lots of reading and research) and it is also my body's opinion (I've tested both brown and white rice and they both affect my blood sugar the exact same. Brown just takes a little longer to peak. Same with whole grain and white bread and they peak at the same time!). It actually prefers fat. Lots and lots of fat.
