ladies, do you wear a size 5 (27) in jeans?

crazy, I am almost 5'10 and I weight 157 and wear a 9. I don't think there is anyway I will ever wear a 5, or if I could that they would be long enough for me
Why? Tall people can be thin and wear small sizes... they make long pants in small sizes.

I'm 5'5", 151. I'm a size 8-10 right now, depending on the brand. Usually when I get down below 140, I wear a 6. My goal is about 135-138. I wore 5 in college - I was about 125 then. The odd sizes are usually Jrs and cut slimmer in the hips than the even "ladies" sizes.0

Im 5'4 and as i weighted 135 i fitted in the 27 jeans easy.
At 120 they became loose.
I had the 135 weight withh same hight 3 years ago were the 27 diddnt fit so i soppose its really all about shape and muscled.0 -
I'm 5' 6.5" and wear a size 5 (depends on the jeans though) and weigh 125lbs....looking through all of these messages, I think it just shows you that we all have different body types and to love what we have0

For real? All my weight is in my hips, I wear a size 4-6 and I'm 5'6.5" and 138.0

I don't think they make designer jeans in my size. lol I'm still in 15s (regular). 5'2" at 175 lbs.

I am 134-138 (varies lol) and I ware 4-6 jeans.... I think everyone carries their weight differently.. I have NO butt and a little bit of a belly!!!! My hips are pretty small too. (but I haven't had kids either)0

146 and 5'11. I wear 27's or a 4 XL. My hips are too wide to fit into Juniors sizes. And at 34 I feel a bit higher in the rise, just below the belly button, suits me better.0

I'm 5'5" and weigh between 138-140, depending on the day. I wear 4s and 6s.
ETA: I weighed around 150 most of my adult life (I'm 39) and was a size 10. The last time I was around 140, I only got to a size 8. It's because I've been doing resistance training and gaining a bit of muscle that I weigh around 140 and wear 4s and 6s. I've not been this small in size since I was in 8th grade, 25 years ago. And using both the wrist and elbow measurements, I'm large-framed. I never thought I would be in these sizes, but it's happened. Working out has done amazing things for me.0 -
that's pretty consistent with the feedback i have gotten before too! i am wondering how i weigh so much lol... this is really annoying me.
Your buff and you have narrow hips... just go with it I usually wear a 27, but then new pairs of 26s (true religion) that I just got are falling off and need a belt-- I'm pissed. I think they redid the vanity sizing since that last time I bought jeans. The waist on these is like a 6.
I'm 5'7", 128 though, with a 26" waist, 35" hips, and about 17% body fat. I'm having a crazy hard time finding jeans that fit.0 -

@154 I would wear a size 10-12 I believe...
I'm 5'4 at 123 now and wear a size 6-7...my hips and bottom half are heavier. It just depends on your body too.0 -
You must be all muscle! I'm 5'4", nearly 140 lbs, and wearing 27-28s depending on the cut. At 154 lbs I was wearing mostly 10s and didn't even try on anything with inch sizing!0
