http://www.pauladeen.com/recipes/recipe_view/bobbys_lighter_tastes_like_lasagna_soup/

I made this on Saturday when my husband's family came over for dinner. There was nothing left at the end and my crockpot was filled to the rim (made it in the crockpot, but think it would probably be even better cooked on the stove top per the directions).

We added the cheese to everyone's bowls instead of directly to the pan for better portion control and easier cleanup. Below is the nutrition from their site, but I know I used less cheese in mine...

Nutritional Information: Per Serving (1 cup) 225 Cal (27% from Fat, 42% from Protein, 31% from Carb); 23 g Protein; 7 g Tot Fat; 2 g Sat Fat; 2 g Mono Fat; 17 g Carb; 2 g Fiber; 4 g Sugar; 108 mg Calcium; 3 mg Iron; 826 mg Sodium; 53 mg Cholesterol

Going to sub the sausage for ground turkey, and reduced fat parm for the regular. But definitely going to give this a try! Thanks :drinker:

You might want to try adding some Italian seasoning if you do. A lot of the flavor came from the (turkey) sweet sausage.

This sounds great, and I love my crockpot. When did you add the noodles?

I added them with about 2 hours left before we ate. I think I could have waited another hour. Or, you could cook them separately and add them at the end.

Yeah, I was going to try to even out the flavor with more spices.

Figured out the info with ground turkey and reduced fat parm. cheese-

    184 cal, 16g carb, 6g fat, 18g protein, 650 sodium, 5g sugar

I'm excited to try this now

225 calories per cup of soup? That's not very low cal!

It sounds yummy and very filling for the cals.
One cup serving plus a small roll and a green salad would make a great dinner and be quite low in calories.
Thanks for sharing. I may make this and freeze in portions as my hubs isn't a lasagna fan.

Definately going to try this! Looks fantastic! I love that Bobby has made so many low-cal substitutions for Paula Deen's recipes. Because while I love her cooking, it's certainly not the best for you! Thanks for posting!

Lots of protein for those cals. Perfect macro soup to me. Looks yummy too x
