I try to avoid riding because of a herniated neck disk and run more often to catch up instead. .. Well, even if I run 3-4 miles everyday I'll still need a 20-mile ride to reach my target. :grumble:

Thu, 12/13: 4.5 miles
Milestone for me! I completed 4.5 miles in one hour. I walked/ran/sprinted/walked, etc., so I didn't maintain a 4.5 pace, but this is the first time I have averaged 4.5 mph (13 min mile) for a whole hour. Yay, me! Next goal will take a while but I would like to complete 5.0 miles in an hour. I know this is not very fast for runners, but it is huge for me. :drinker:

today was a work lunch and therefore i had to take a "true" rest day....
lunch walk tomorrow and then elliptical at the ymca tomorrow night should throw up 7+miles to be added to my total....
