I don't know what it is. I've tried a lot of pills over the years and I think I just want to do it the slow and steady way so when this weight comes off it's gone forever0
-
See I'm 30 pounds down from my weight when I started on MFP the first time (which still wast my highest weight) and I've only done the slow and steady way. Unfortunately I find I never have energy unless I end up going over my calorie goals for the day. This is supposed to allow low cal, but high energy. I'm not using it. Just tryin to get some opinions from people that I know are in my shoes ya know.0

Diet pills are useless and potentially dangerous. If your energy is constantly low and you're eating well most of the time, see your doctor as there may be a medical reason for it.0

It is a thermogenic fat burner with caffeine and their proprietary blends. If you are seriously considering these I would take OEP. *shrug*0

Hi, KaceeDawn17 -
My personal experience with ALL diet pills (and I've unfortunately tried many, many, many kinds in my lifetime, and gave them up altogether about 10 years ago) is that you probably will lose weight when you take them.
And then when you inevitably stop taking them, you will gain it all back, and then some.
It's better to stick with a real lifestyle change - healthy diet and exercise - even if it takes longer than you'd like.
It's tempting to take a drug, but as I once read or heard somewhere - if being thin could truly be acheived by taking a pill, there would be no overweight people.
Additionally, a lot of the stimulants in the diet drugs, even if they are herbal and natural, have negative side effects. The last drug I took was over the counter and gave me severe chest pains. All herbal. I went to my doctor and she freaked out and insisted that I quit taking them immediately. I did and felt fine.
Hang in there...you can do this without drugs! I know you can!!

Then up your calorie goal. If you are feeling sluggish, then you're prob. not eating enough.0 -
I've been taking ace for a week and I can definitely can tell a difference my appetite has reduced and it gives you just the right amount of energy I take one pill with breakfast and another around 2 o'clock its helped reboot my weight loss I was stuck at the same weight for a month and this week I lost 5 pounds I would recommend ace to anyone !!!0
-
First, if pills worked don't you think we would all be skinny? Second, do you realize that all the people with only a few post are recommending it? Not those of us with thousands of post? And lastly, if you are tired or yo yo dieting its probably because you are jot eating enough and not teaching yourself how to eat. It you learn how/what to eat and exercise daily (more specially weight training with some cardio) then you will see and maintain great results. Btw, most women i know are eating 1700-2100 calories for fat loss.0

Diet pills are useless
not always.
most diet pills are caffeine based and the benefits of caffeine are well documented.
Also, a diet pill may have a placebo effect and that MAY help some people stick to an exercise and caloric deficit program via some kind of positive attitude type synergy kind of thing.0 -
from the internet-
ACE - Appetite Control and Energy dietary supplement is a blend of ingredients including Dark Cocoa and Natural Caffeine,
I doubt anyone can say these two ingredients are dangerous or worthless
the only issues I can see is they are probably expensive and some people might think if one pill is good then four pills are great0 -

And just like every other supplement, these will not provide weight loss. A calorie deficit is what provides weight loss.0 -

Note: I'm all in favor of caffeine - I drink about a pot of coffee a day - but I could double that and still gain weight if I wasn't maintaining a calorie deficit.0 -

If you learn to not over eat without a crutch you will be successful in the long run.0 -

It's great that you're pleased with your results, but like you stated you're willing to try anything. Desperation will many times overcome correct judgement.

are you guys serious im freakin 17 years old and your sitting here telling me how wrong it is that I use a diet pill I was just trying to help the lady out that asked about the pill since your so dam successful why do you even need a mfp since your such a pro you all are very quick to criticize just because you guys have different views than I don't mean im wrong and it don't make you right quit being so negative im not going to apologize for using something that works
I was going to "Whoa, whoa, whoa - ease up there, hon. What's with the fireworks?" And then I saw you are 17. Which means you are currently biologically programmed to be defensive, pissy, argumentative, and prone to run-over tactics when attempting to make a point.
Almost can't blame ya. I was like that at 17, too.0 -

If you feel the need for an appetite suppressant and an energy boost, just drink coffee. It has the exact same effect without costing you a ton of money. Besides that though, if you're feeling sluggish when you stay under your current calorie goal, you're not eating enough. Adjust your goals and go from there.0

Which ingredients are 'thermogenic fat burners other than caffeine?0 -

Hun, you are the only person throwing a hissy fit. The pills 'work' because they contain caffeine which is an appetite suppressant and a mild stimulant. And there is an age limit - when you sign up you have to agree to the Ts & Cs - one of which is that you are at least 18 years old.0 -
Avilhead. I have to admit, that's funny. It's a good name! The folks you are arguing with have good advice. You won't be steered wrong listening to them. Then again, that's a step you have to take on your own. You'll do what do you do.0

Very mature!
Also rather silly as you just admitted that you lied when completing the Ts & Cs - hmmmm.0
