1) I threw out the extra shortbread cookies I had after a party -- for reals.
2) I went for a hour long walk at 6 km/hr with an incline for the 3 days I was at my in-laws over Christmas.0 -
Ooooh I thought of a rather embarrassing one... I was chatting with my husbands family (MIL, FIL and his Grandma) about yoga and how amazing it has been for me. I got on the topic of one of my favourite poses, and how proud I was to first be able to execute it (it's an arm balance) and then to learn how to execute not only that move but that move INTO a headstand and back down. They made me show them... so I had to go put on yoga pants as my jeans wouldn't make the cut and show them crow into headstand in the middle of my living room in front of the Christmas tree. LOL!!!! It was nice though for others to see/notice the strength, balance, focus I have gained through yoga in the past couple of years.0

LOL I was asked to do something similar the other night. It was after work and all my tiny friends who have never had kids or been over weight started sprouting off how flexable they were, and one did something with her leg, so I put my leg over my head and then a back bend and then a split. It was pretty impressive to them lol, that them at 18 can do it but me at 30 can do it lol.0 -

BAM! That is really awesome. And after kids too! I have 3 wee ones myself and many people are surprised to learn that which is a NSV too I guess.0 -
My Mom wanted to take a thousand pictures of the family and of my sisters and I together and I didn't hate any of them. Usually I duck from the camera and then go back and delete ones I don't like, but this year was great! I was just so happy because that has NEVER happened before! I also got many compliments on my dress, which is the smallest size I have ever worn before!0

I have always wanted a sweater dress, but would never get one. Let's face it, they are not forgiving. My daughters gave me a couple for Christmas. They fit & looked good- no lumpy bits hanging out.0

avoided all the food at work on Fri (we had xmas cookies fresh baked, donuts, pizza, chocolates)
avoided all the desserts at my dads on xmas (was offered cookies, ice cream, chocolates) and ate my dinner in moderation0 -

These are all such great things. Great thread! Here's mine:
I ran the whole holiday season...including Christmas day AND my clothes that I wore prior to the holiday season still fit!0 -
I made a plan for the holiday sweets and followed it.
My plan was to avoid the sweets at all the get togethers except for the one at my parents house. While there I was going to allow myself a big meal and any treats that I wanted. I did exactly as I planned and had my first bite of holiday sweets last night. I enjoyed a great meal and all the home baked treats mom always makes while avoiding her homemade candies. Because it was planned it was completely guilt free and to top it off I'm back on track today.0 -

1. Not only did I have a regular workout day, but I set a new speed record on my mini-bike for my current resistance setting.
2. I thoroughly enjoyed (and logged) a single serving of the candy that a friend sent us -- the first time I've had candy since mid-September -- while my perpetually-slim partner thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the box. :-) PS: I came in under my calorie goal.0 -
I got a cute white shirt size medium and it fit! A little snug, but I think it'll be perfect after about 5 more pounds. I haven't worn a medium top since high school. :happy:0

In the morning I did P90X Plyometrics (most difficult workout for me). Absolutely killed it. First time I ever 100% kept up with the crew on the video. Then after the workout we went over to the inlaws and all I could think about at dinner was how hard I worked earlier that day which made me eat only the best of food on the table and in small portions. Came in under my cal goal for the day and actually had to add a small extra meal when we got home so I wasn't too low on cals for the day.0

only eating ONE bowl of stuffing.:sick:0

mine was confining excessive food intake to one meal, logging it all, and making up for it with exercise. Christmas dinner was awesome, and not feeling guilty about it was good, too.0

1. Looking at the photos of me opening presents with my boys and not deleting them!
2. Brother, SIL and MIL all commenting on how I've gone "all skinny" (my brother only ever makes fun of me and does not compliment anyone!)
I'm 5.4" and 170 lbs so hardly skinny but it made me smile0 -
My mom commenting that you really can't tell that I've had children by looking at me.0
