How many calories do you eat each day?

Just curious to see how many calories people are normally taking in. And how active are you? Thanks! :-)

2500-3500 thru thanksgiving and Christmas now 1800 as im on damage control. Then back to 2000 in a week or two:)im lazy0

i am trying to eat 1400 calories a day... eating clean food. trying to exercise 5 to 6 times a week. either a run or strength training.

MFP allows me 1730 per day (to lose .5lb/wk). I usually exercise 30-45 minutes at least 4-5 days a week. This usualy gives me 150-200 extra calories of which I almost always eat back some.0

1200-1400, im 5'1, 120lbs, getting pretty close to my goal so gonna start upping it again when I get to 115 or so . Very sedentary lifestyle, work out anywhere from 2-6 hrs a week0

MFP is set at 1530 which I am like a lot better than what I used to do. I used to eat about 1200 which is too low. 1530 allows me to pick foods that are healthier, even if they have some extra calories. I try to exercise everyday and don't eat back any of the calories I burn0

My nutritionist told me between 1300 to 1500 and I'm sticking to that! I'm usually in the 1400.
I usually exercise several days a week, 30-60 minutes, but have not been doing as much because of the holiday season, the terrible weather, and a recent injury (orthopedist said I have to rest 2 more weeks). At least I'm sticking to the healthy food and calorie deficit!
If I work out, I eat back my work out calories until I have a net of 1300.0 -
1500 if I don't exercise that day. 1700-1800 if I do exercise that day.0

I try to eat about 1500. I haven't been as on the job this last month as I should have been (especially now around Christmas, and we won't even celebrate Christmas till January 4-6 which drags it out so much!!) but I will be back on it on days I am not at my family's place, and immediately after we celebrate our Christmas. I haven't exercised as much as I would like either but I want to hit the gym 4-6 days a week.0

im 5'3 18 and weigh 112 lbs.
i eat anywhere between 1300 calories-1900 calories.
it depends on how hard i have worked out or how hungry i am.
i hike everyday burning around 500-600 calories within the day.
& i do some strength training.0 -
1,700-2,500 depending upon exercise targeting a loss of 1 lb per week. Looking forward to adding 500 calories when I reach maintenance.0

I have MFP set up for me to lose 2 lbs a week, so I only get 1210, it's a struggle...and I walk at least 3 miles a day.....with a full time job and twin 3 year olds, I don't have time for much else.0

Usually about 1,500, on a normal day when I don't do too much, and I am moderately active.. on hard workout days, that can go up to 2,100 or more.
Oh and I'm 5'8" and weight 135lbs, with a body fat of 14.9%.0 -
Per my physician and nutritionalist, 1300-1500 a day...but healthy cals as this is about good nutrition as well for me. I have mobility issues, so I exercise when I can as often as I can...mostly walking, light weights from a chair, and my recumbent bike. I also like to chase my good looking wife of 33+ years around the house0

I've just moved into maintenance mode, but before that, I was eating about 1900 calories a day. I'm 5'10, 140 pounds and workout 5-6 days a week (burning between 250 and 500 calories).0

my calorie goal is 1200 ...exceeded it by 600 calories or so in the past 2 days due to so much yummy christmas food around...but will recover it from today by exercising more and remaining under calorie goal.0

I eat between 3000 and 4000 most days...and I exercise a bunch.
What I focus on are net calories. And I totally follow the MFP recommendations.

1800 is my calorie goal and I eat back some exercise calories. Usually exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week but lately I have been working some active jobs so I am wearing a pedometer to get a read on my activity level. I have lost a pound a week in the last 3 weeks.0

I'm 5'0" and weigh about 110lbs.
I try to consume between 800-1200 per day with running 4 miles, which can burn just around 400 calories. My net calories consumed winds up being roughly 400-800. This may be bad, but I try to consume just enough to not starve myself.0 -
I try for 1200 but sometimes don't make it. I sometimes go over a 100 to 300. Right now I am in stage 1 of the virgin diet.
I started this about a week ago but fel off the wagon and had some dairy and some wine so starting over today.0 -
Responding to the poster who said she eats about 800 cal a day and exercises. When I do that my family is all over me. I try for 1200 and exercise by walking my dogs 2 x a day about 40 minutes each time and then adding some stationery bike riding to that about the/four times a week.0
