I eat cottage cheese by itself with a spoon.
I wasn't even aware there were other ways.

I use about a 1/4 cup with or without a small amount of fruit almost every day. It's low in calories and high in protein not to mention the calcium all women need. My dietician suggested it and I like it so it works.

I'll typically eat a half cup daily... if not more. It's always the 2% milkfat 30% lower sodium breakstone.

I love cottage cheese. I usually just eat a serving (1/2 cup) at a time, either by itself with a spoon, or cut a cantaloupe in half and throw the cottage cheese in the hole. Or scramble it with my eggs.

    Cottage cheese is delicious.

1/2 c. cottage cheese (1%) mixed with no sugar added 1/2 c. fruit (mandarin oranges are my favorite)

it's also really good with pears and pineapples. some people swear by peaches but i don't like that at all.

adds up to about 120 calories = score!

I always though cottage cheese made people fat.
When I was a kid, only fat people ate cottage cheese....and here I am eating cottage cheese.
    I LOVE IT!
I mix it with fruit or just cook with it, replacing any cheese call for with the cottage variety.

2 ways I eat half a cup to one cup depending on how much protein I need.

    1) add sliced green olives and grape tomatoes
    2) sriracha and lots of it!

I eat cottage cheese almost every day and love it. That said I prefer some brands to others. Try a low fat 1% or 2% cottage cheese. Open the container and using a spoon taste it. It mixes well as you know with fruit like melon and berries but also with pasta or any of the ways people are suggesting.

I never like cottage cheese until recently a friend suggested I eat it with splenda and some sliced almonds mixed in. now I can't get enough of it for a high protein snack. I have 1-2 servings at a time and sometimes cut out the almonds if i am concerned about the calories.

They make low-sodium versions also. Lucerne makes a low-fat (1%) with no sodium added, only has around 40g sodium per serving.

I'm blessed I dont like flavor. Sometimes I eat it in a bowl other times I eat it out of the container. The one thing I learned a long time ago was not to by the cheap cottage cheese it is grose.

I don't eat it anymore because of the sodium, but when I did, I loved it just plain.
