Wow, what a great transformation, congratulations!! I am on a very similar journey. My starting weight (284) and yours is almost identical and my goal (200lbs) weight near the same. I have been losing at about 1.5 lbs/week but I expect the weight loss to slow down. Did your weight loss slow down?0

Now, onto the question:
Yes, it did slow down - to the point where i plateau'd several times. I had to crank up the intensity and change the routine to keep the results coming. As you lose the weight, more exercises become practical. For example, at 285, I wasn't doing too many chin ups. Now, they are part of my bicep workout.
I had to keep that in mind and try new things. I can run 5k without a break now, before, 50 yards had me puffing. You also have to train your mind as you lose the fat - tell it that new things are possible.0 -
You look absolutely AMAZING...and so strong....way to go!!! You should be very proud!0

Wow. Amazing transformation, man. Great work! I'm at about your "skinnier but with less muscle" stage myself. Gives me some inspiration to beef up now.0
