no... i see no reason to, unless I'm just too lazy to go downstairs to the kitchen to get something to eat (which is the case sometimes)

I usually just save 100 or so calories and have a protein shake before bed. They are all "sweet" tasting and if you make with ice in blender kind of like a milk shake. And I get the almost no carbs/sugars so all protein to keep me full and then I don't wake up so hungry in the AM.

Nope. If I go to bed hungry, I get up nauseous in the morning. Not worth it, so I make sure I am full when I lay down at night.

O so this was me all the time, I would eat a full dinner, meat and veg and still be hungry. But Ive started doing dans fasting and now once I close my diary at bewtween 6pm and 7pm i am not hungry at all, this is very weird for me but good as i dont want to eat anything more, I would say dont eat carbs late in the day, they just make you hungry.

Nope never, If you are going to bed hungry all the time you need to look at some of your food choices

I agree. Possibly you're not eating enough for your energy exp. levels.

Im pretty lucky that i dont anymore, since i started my most recent healthy eating kick i havent wanted anything after my evening mean around 6-7pm.

I used to all the time, in fact that used to be one of my worst habits, getting out of bed and making a sandwich or eating a chocolate bar

I'd suggest a few pints of water an hour before bed but you'll likely need to get up for a pee if you do that, its a happy tradeoff for me but not for everybody
  • So never go to bed hungry ! What type of snacks WOUKD u recommend ? I always stress my cals & I'm trying to concentrate more on my macros instead if cals restricted of course I'm not gonna over do it

I rarely let myself get hungry and I never stay that way.

As far as snacks it depends on your macros and what you have left over at the end of the day.

Nope. I plan to have snacks thru the day and pre plan a bedtime snack so I have it figured into the calorie/carb etc totals for the day...that way I'm not at of calories etc by bedtime.

It's happened once or twice due to bad planning. If it happens here and there, I wouldn't sweat it (or at a minimum, grab something to eat). If it happens every day, then you obviously have to fix your diet.

Not always. Not often do I go to the bed hungry, but it seems I sometimes get hungry if I stay up too late. I usually eat every. 3 hours or so during the day, so if I stay up late my brain begins to think it is time to eat again, I guess.

I have a few times so now I'm trying to plan my day a bit more so I have a late evening snack planned.
I'm naturally kind of a night owl and tend to stay up later.

being hungry and full are the worse feelings in the world to me. I never go to bed feeling either if I can help it.

Unless you get heartburn or have trouble sleeping on a full stomach or something like that, why not just save some calories for the evening so you don't HAVE to go to bed hungry?

Personally, I have a very hard time sleeping if I am hungry.

I do (on a good day) but this is because I am used to eating at night. After dinner.

After nearly a year of dieting I am guessing this is always going to be the case... I still get hungry after dinner...

I will always eat if I am hungry. Maybe you aren't eating enough if you are hungry all the time?
  • Yep, but I go to sleep pretty late, after 3 am on most days. I have to watch myself in the morning cuz that's when I can eat and eat and eat

maybe just me but i tend to not eat until 11am or 12pm and even then it is just yogurt. I've always been the type to get hungry in the evenings so I figure there isn't much need to eat as much in the AM.
  • no. Once in a while, for example if I'm over my limit. But I really prefer to save calories for a before-bedtime meal. Then I work out before breakfast and I have more energy from that late meal.

No, I eat most of my calories in the evening, and usually have something right before bed.
