This post is freakin' incredible. At this point, I've lost a Car Tire (those things are heavy!) But I hope by the end of my journey I've lost an Elephants Penis and a Chihuahua! Only a mid-sized microwave and a human head to go!0

This is a great thread! I gotta say tho, I have two guinea pigs and they're both about a kg each, so I'm thinking the 1 pound is a BABY guinea pig. Even cuter.0

This post is amazing.
I had trouble putting my weight loss into perspective until I remembered the 50 lb bags of epsom salts we used to have at my old job. Occasionally I would have to pick up one of these bags to refill a bigger container and they were always so big and unwieldy. When I lost 50 lbs, I imagined not having to carry those salts around with me all day, everyday. Now it looks like I've lost the bag of salts plus an average 2-year-old.
Looking at it that way makes my accomplishment seem so much bigger.
Thanks!

This is a great post. When I read the title I thought the OP got a divorce.0

I love this thread, thanks to whoever brought it back!
I have now lost the world's largest ball of tape, a chihuahua, and a guinea pig. I hope the poor chihuahua and guinea pig aren't trapped inside all that tape!
Final goal is (ironically, since I'm low carb) pounds of red meat an American eats in a year.
But I'm sorely tempted to lose the super model. Except then I'd have to gain some back, and that would just be silly. But funny.
Oops, make that two guinea pigs! And since we used to have horses, I know what a two month old horse looks like. I still boggle at the fact that before I'm done I'll have lost the equivalent of one. I can't believe I ever carried that much extra around!0 -
Great job! I've lost a gold brick.0

I've lost a newborn calf0
