I was actually all set to head over there, then I decided to see what other people thought. I do think it's great that they offer some hard to find items, especially for people with certain dietary restrictions. I have a friend who is on a gluten-free diet and she loves this shop.

I think there are people on both sides. I asked a question, read the responses, and decided this store isn't for me. I've been to markets in the same area as this, and I was really glad my boss was paying. I don't see any reason to overpay for groceries if I don't have to. I don't have any dietary restrictions, so most of what I buy is readily available at my local grocery store.

god (or whatever imaginary creature you so desire) help you if you are making ANY decision based on responses here.

Go to the store, look around for a few minutes, and reach your own conclusion that the store is totally AWESOME and that their buffet has ruined you for fast food forever.

    enjoy

Goodness gracious I LOVE whole foods. My second favorite grocery store ever next to Central Market in Texas.

I like Trader Joes also but the two stores are totally different and there really is no comparison

Whole Foods is an awesome store

Trader Joes and Whole Foods are a 2 hour drive away for me. We do make the drive a few times a year for some of the specialty foods they have that we just can't get in stores in our area. I found the produce there to be much better than any of the other local stores with the exception of when the farmer's markets are open. For everyday grocery shopping, it is going to be more expensive. I lived right next store to one for a while and did most of my shopping there. I do think it is at least worth going there once to check it out. You'll never know if some of their specialty foods will really interest you or not. I love Whole Foods and wish there was one much closer to here.
