Ah, liking the slightly warmer weather! Gotta love Oregon's changes - we have 4 seasons! So nice. Between work & school I haven't had much exercise time, but I found a Zumba class on Saturday mornings I'm trying to go to. I'm very excited - I miss my dancing!

    Tasha,
    Did you ever zumba?

Yes, yes! I do love my Zumba. I've been doing hip hop as well, but I find that Zumba is a more consistent workout - constantly moving and not stopping to learn new things. Plus, if I give it my all, I find my side abs are sore the next day. I imagine a teeny tiny waistline...

I'm not real good at dancing, but I love it! How about you?

Hey everyone! I'm out in Hillsboro. Does anyone have any suggestions to get through the spring rain? I can't wait for May, warmer weather and some reliable sunshine!

My name is Michael. I came to Portland, Oregon in 1987. From Southern California. Love it here, but plan to move to Vegas in about 6 years. Want to be able to ride year round.

Welcome. Where are you in Oregon? SE Portland here.
  • In a little town outside of Salem. Isn't this a beautiful Oregon day!
  • Has anyone here gone hiking around Oregon before. I love to hike. (Just a little worried:ohwell: about wild animals but I'm ok with it most of the time) If you do where do you go?

Have you hiked Silver [Creek] Falls State Park? No wild animals to contend with there, and there are many fantastic waterfalls to see along the route. Great in the spring, when the water is flowing stronger.

There's also a good hike in the North Fork of the Santiam River area (Opal Creek) .

Otherwise, I'm in the PDX area, so we hike a lot in the Columbia River Gorge, or on Mt Hood.
