I binged :(
I was trying to do one of those fasts/cleanse type of things. The parameters were to to stay off of MFP except to log my food. I heard this would jump-start my mental health. Well, last night I failed horribly. I binged. I must have posted like 100 times. I feel horrible about it today. What should I do? I don't know how I can stick to this MFP fast.

Only cut out certain kinds of posts. Pick a certain topic and avoid those only. Cause of course those topics will make you fat.0

Hi, I'm an authorized seller of MFP away. If you want to private message me I can let you know about some great ideas

The only way is to cut the "bad" MFP forums entirely out of your diet. Personally, I recommend a 30-day challenge and if you decide to go back to MFP forums after the 30 days, fine...but until you completely cut it out, you won't know just how awesome you'll feel without it.0

Try and avoid fasts! I know they do work for some people, but not many. Your body is going to crave food and thats how binges start.0

You will have to make sure you still imbibe enough 'water' posts though !!!!0

you would feel much better if you were on a 1200 post diet...it would pull your chakras into alignment and help purify your body from all those toxins,....
remember only 1200 posts....no more, no less...
and if you feel hangry.....just deal with it.
we're all in this journey together...feel free to friend me!

Your problem is that you limited your posts too much. 100 posts a day just isn't enough. Try taking your total post count and subtracting 20%.0

Did satan put you up to this??? :devil:0

Lol yep didn't read that. I hope no-one read what I originally posted...0

I try post zig-zagging, where I furiously post hundreds of comments with great advice one day, and then the next day maybe post one comment about someone's sexy shoes.0

This is just a bump in your Journey....
Don't stop believing....

Restrict yourself on types of forums. I hear too much chit-chat can be toxic. Stick to the success stories, food and nutrition, and fitness and exercise forums at 30-30-40.0

When will people just stop spreading this kind of ridiculous fad dieting advice!!! :grumble:
Posting on MFP will NOT damage your mental health and you certainly do not need to restrict your posts to lose weight. I suggest you join the group "Post More to Lose More" All you need to do is post as often as possible and make sure you are typing with BOTH hands. You will lose weight as your hands and mind will be fully occupied you won't be able (or have the time ) to eat so much.
Get back on here right now0 -
I was told that if you eat small meals and healthy snack several times throughout the day it keeps you fuller and if you drink plenty of water in between... dont feel bad about binging every once in a while it happens and it means you are human just start again and try to make better choices the more discouraged you get the more dificult it will be to stick to it... wishing you luck and here for support0
