hubby is having a buffalo burger, i'm having a trader joe's chili lime chicken burger, both on an Arnold's deli flat. He is having mozzarella sticks, I'm having steamed brocoli. not a very inventive meal but I've been trying to keep it good, healthy and easy.

I am a vegetarian so probably a boca burger without the bun, fresh steamed green beans and brown rice... Yummy and very low in calories.. Gotta watch the sodium if it's pre-packaged rice, though.

I'm having this for lunch and supper tonight.

1/2 serving whole wheat pasta (full serving is 300+ calories, so I usually cut it in half for a second meal)
    chicken breast mixed in
    veggies like zucchini and peppers
    marinara sauce
    sprinkle of parmesan

roughly 373 cals, 47 carbs with 8g fibre, 8g of fat, and 31g of protein.

The sodium is high though due to the chicken breast and pasta sauce. 1053 mg.

Not too concerned though. I drink a lot of water and have low BP.

To mix it up sometimes, I take crushed garlic and 2 tbs of olive oil for the "sauce" instead of tomato. It just makes fat and calorie content slightly higher and brings down the sodium level and fibre.

    Saute:
    Onions - Sweet, raw, 0.25 onion 26
    Generic - Garlic Clove, 0.25 clove 1
    Bertolli - Olive Oil - Extra Light , 1 tbsp 120
Generic - Mushrooms, White, Raw, 2 oz 4
    Spinach - Raw, 1 cup 7
Green Giant - Asperagus Spears, 1 spears 4

The pour on top of ready veggies (cook until eggs are cooked)
    Phil's Fresh Eggs - Egg, 1 egg 70
Generic - Egg Whites, Raw, Uncooked, 2 Large Egg 32
    Sargento - Shredded Part-Skim Mozzerella Cheese, 1/8 cup 40

Fold like an omlette: when it is donr and on a plate put chopped RAW bean sprouts and RAW avacado on the omlette. Top off with the salsa!!

Fresh - Avacado (Raw), 0.25 whole avacado 81
    Bean Sprout, 0.12 cup 9
Pace - Picante Sauce Mild, 4 tbsp 20
    Total calories: 414

I couldnt believe how good this turned out. I didn't count the cls before hand so I was kind of mad that I went over but it is all great food! You can reduce the calories by using a 1/2 tbs of olive oil or 0 cal spray!
