I'm currently running in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 with superfeet blue insoles. I like then, but need a little more forefoot cushion. I'm 6'2" and weigh 195. Even though I pronate, I may try the Brooks ghost and put the Superfeet blues and see what happens. Keep this in mind. Brooks has a 30 day guarantee, no questions asked.

Brooks Ravenna is my fav but everyone is different. For you knee issues, make sure you have not only strong quads and hamstrings but also flexible as well!

Brooks Glycerin. Retiring the 9's after my half in a month or so. Will be fitting for the 10's this weekend. Go get fitted at a running store not a Foot Locker. There are many different variables and you will need solid advice.

Same here - love my Brooks Glycerin 9s.

Aasics. I will never wear anything else. I've tried but I always go back. You can find good deals on many websites and Big5/sports authority on their lower echelon models.

Edit: Actually, I love my new pair so much I made them my profile picture. ;)

I said this exact thing today: I ran my first race in Asics. They were awesome, but then I saw some Mizunos, so I gave those a whirl. They were ok, but for $130 they should have run without me. Then I went back to Asics. And since I have a mild shopping obsession that is soley focused on running shoes (mostly), I got some Nikes. Mind you, NONE of these shoes were cheap. After some more Nikes, Vibrams, and Brooks, I went back to Asics and vowed never to stray again.
