When did this site turn into a concentration camp?

I have been a member on the site for roughly 2 years (different user names/profiles), in that 2 years the forums have went from a place of fun - especially the chit chat forum to a place where if you tell someone the truth you are facing a warning, a strike or better yet a forum ban.

I am a member of MULTIPLE online forums and have been since I was 15; I am 30 now so you do the math. This site is so overly moderated its ridiculous. There are times where yes moderation is required but every single one of the warnings I have ever received has been because I told someone to just do it and suck it the fruck up! I tell my co-workers the same thing on a daily basis... hell I tell my 8 year old niece to suck it the fruck up if she is whining over something stupid.

NOT everyone on this site is mean, some of us are actually pretty nice people that do try to help but when we are met with "Stop being mean" comments we just turn into sarcasm machines... its not bullying if you don't like what you hear. Be an adult pull up your big girl/boy panties and move the hell on. Not everyone is going to hold your hand, not everyone is going to like what your doing and we will tell you. We are adults right? I think there is a rule you have to be 18 to use the site... so be an adult, if someone hurts your feelings on the internet turn the computer off and walk away. Pretty simple.


Also stop reporting things unless its necessary... if you are an avid "OH I DON"T LIKE THIS REPORT" person go away. It is not your JOB to remove those you do not like, use the ignore feature and those you don't like won't show up on the forums. Seriously... you know who you are.

Can we please be more like an internet forum and less like a concentration camp. I come to the site for the tools, and the socialization factor - its fun... well it used to be fun. I want fun back.

are you done yet?... did that feel good to let it out lol?.. well the reason why people report other people is because it pisses them off that a stranger would be disrespectful to them... i have had ALOT of woman on here tell me ALOT of ****eed up things and let me tell u what... if they were to be in front of me i 99.99% guarantee they would not talk to me like that... because before they could finish there last word there face would be on the ground.. lol. haha! im so violent today but seriously what im trying to get at is :

people on these threads talk very big... but if it was face to face 99% would back down....guaranteed... its just a fact that people try to talk hard because they are protected by a screen. if anything why dont we be nice on these threads... and talk big out in the real world...

just like road rage.. ya you will flip me off while your in the car.. but the second i get out my car and come after you what are you gonna do now..? they drive away and get all scarred.... lol... haha i sound so gangster right now but its true.. all of yalls have big balls here but in the real world many would run away and hide.....

kind heartedness goes a long way.. you have no idea what being nice could do to make a person feel happy... for every 5 nice comments someone gets if 1 comment is negative all the nice comments fade away.. it pays off to be nice.. it is more rewarding to feel like you made someone happy. i would much rather make someone smile than make someone cry...

PHYSICAL ABUSE HEALS WITH TIME.... MENTAL ABUSE MAY NEVER HEAL AT ALL and those words will ALWAYS stick with you at a negative point in your lifestyle..... so... choose words wisely and know someones feelings are behind this screen... dont be mean just because you can....

I'd like to see you punch my face in... seriously I really would because I can put money on it you would be the one walking away with a broken nose. On these forums I am EXACTLY 100% to the T the same as I am in real life. If I say it here I say it in real life..

If 1 negative comment on the INTERNET ruins your day you should probably re-evaluate how you handle things. Me personally.. I am not a hateful person, I do not say things just to hurt peoples feelings but sometimes the truth hurts. I don't hold hands, I don't beleive telling someone everything they are doing will pay off if I know for a fact it wont. People need a thicker shell.

You just took that to another level. Maybe you didn't read what the OP wrote.....or didn't fully comprehend it, but the OP isn't saying there aren't mean people on here......But the majority aren't and lots of people are report happy right now. As others have stated many times it is not the person being attacked at all but the idea........When the person insists on defending that idea to the death with no scientific research to back it up and then get personally offended that's on them.....not the person questioning the idea.
