    Best 'compliment' I have gotten is when E-5s and higher (I'm in the military) recommend me for leadership positions even though I am already doing the work and thinking that no one has noticed. Makes me feel really proud of myself.

    On my free time at work, I draw. There are a few of my coworkers that always want to look at my work and they always ask me why I'm a fraud specialist with talent like that.

    I get told alot that i have gorgeous eyes but I also get alot of compliments about how positive and friendly i am, they mean so much more aha :)

    I really appreciate when people point out my humor and intelligence. I guess people get thrown off by my pretty/small town girl appearance and really don't know what to expect but when I start talking and showing what I can do, people often compliment on how I am a class clown and can really get a crowd laughing. Parents of friends also often reference me as a role model for school and work, which is really a confidence booster.

    There's been quite a few, and plenty from the husband but one of the ones I was most touched/warmed by was when an uncle in law, who I became quite close to via working on projects together, told my mother one day when he spotted her that she'd done an excellent job raising me and I was a credit to her.

    It was unexpected and unnecessary and it made it more important somehow.
