I have one cup frozen diced potatoes (fried up with a little spray), 1/2 cup fat-free refried beans, 1/3 cup scrambled egg whites and 2 Tablespoons salsa. It's really good, filling, and a little different.
    Calories are approximately 250
  • Every other day I have steel-cut oats that soaked all night in coconut milk. Take from fridge and nuke for 90 seconds. Add sugar = yum. On alternate days I do the spinach pineapple tangerine blueberry almond / pb + oj smoothies. A tall one. Both fill me up with no cravings until my 10am break (teacher). Dried sour cherries (so much more delicious than raisins) or boiled egg are a good snack until lunch. One cup of coffee w cream every morning (down from 4 cups daily for past 25 yrs!). Weekends = fried eggs and crunchy 7-grain toast. This works for me. I'm only on day 24 but that's about 20 days longer than usual ;)

I usually have a green monster smoothie. 1/2 banana, handful of spinach, 1 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of peanut butter and I container of strawberry chobani greek yogurt. It is very yummy and keeps me full until lunch. I either have that or oatmeal with fruit.

THIS sounds really yummy. I think I will try that. ")

Early morning before run is 1/2 banana and coffee and at least 8oz water. Sometimes I add a boiled egg. This really gives me plenty of energy for a good run.

    When I get to work:

I usually do oatmeal, 1 cup almond milk, handful of mixed berries (frozen), 1T flaxseed. or 2 eggo whole grain waffles with 2T all natural peanut butter

1 cup of cottage cheese or a protein shake.
  • I'm a college student so I usually just fix myself a bowl of frosted mini-wheats (2 servings) with 1 cup of milk. It gets me:

    10g of protein
    12g of fiber
and lots of minerals and vitamins.

I use fat free milk so that gets me another 8g of protein. Keeps me going until lunch!

Fruit on the bottom organic Greek yogurt (various flavors) with added plain organic Greek yogurt to cut the sugar, and most days either cheese toast or oatmeal. Twice a week, I have bacon, eggs and toast with butter and sometimes jelly instead.

ETA: and lots of black coffee.

I usually do a banana and a snack pack of mixed nuts in the morning just before the gym and after a bowl of oatmeal with skim milk and berries and a cup or coffee of course :)
  • Weekends (I have more time):
Two slices rye bread toasted, two eggs (either poached or soft bolied) and sometimes a poached haddock. 1 or 2 cups of espresso

    Weekdays (less time):
Oats So Simple with a handful of blueberries. 2 black coffees

Might have a banana mid-morning to keep me going but not always.

Here lately I've been hooked on Jif Natural PB and clover honey sandwiches on Arnold whole grain bread. This along with my protein shake and maybe some blueberries and/or strawberries for good measure.

Deep chocolate Vita Top muffin top w/1 pat of butter (yum), 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce (so my pills don't get stuck in my throat) and a medium banana (which my doctor says to eat everyday for my extra potassium). I'm good 'til noon.
  • I have one slice of dry whole wheat toast, ham lunch meat, and one egg. I cut the toast in half and make a breakfast sandwich out of it.

Standard UK supermarket brand of Sultana Bran and fat free natural yoghurt. One of the few meals I can say I never get bored of having everyday, never used to bother with breakfast! Comes in at about 200 calories.

Although I just started MFP a week or so ago...I have almost the same breakfast because it keeps me going....1/3 c of Bob's Red Mill 6 grain hot cereal., 3/4 cup of light soy milk, a fruit (apple, banana, or orange-which ever I have handy), 2 light string cheese sticks, and coffee...hope it helps!
Another thing I have done when I was out of string cheese is to add 1 c. natural peanut butter to my hot cereal and a 25 calorie pack of hot cocoa....it tastes like a no bake cookie :-) good luck!

then sauteed 1 c of spinach, 3 oz of baby portabello mushrooms, 1/4 c red onion.
poured 6 tbsp of egg whites over the top, cracked one whole egg on top of that, then a slice of sargento provolone to finish.

A cup of green tea. ;-)

A question to all egg eaters: What do you do with the rest of the yolk when you only eat the egg white? Throw it away?

People throw away the yolk? Blasphemy!:noway: That's the most delicious part!
