Hi guys, just wondering everybody's dress/pants size, their height and weight. I'm currently 211lbs, a UK 14-16 dress size and 5"7 tall! I'm trying to get down to a size 10 UK size, weighing around 140-150lbs.
I only just joined the MFP and already I feel so motivated. Thanks guys. P/S It'd be great if you indicate whether you're male or female. Also feel free to add me xx

I am 204lbs, 5'7...I wear size US 14 jeans (UK 16), and US 12 (UK 14) pants for work.
 In 2011 i was 240lbs wearing US 18/20 (UK 20/22)
 I'm aiming for ~170lbs, dunno what size I'll be then...maybe US 8 or 10...

I'm 5'8, 161 lbs and wear a US 10 in pants and a LG/MD in tops (big boobs no matter what I weigh!!!).
I started at 179 lbs in a US 16 for pants and a LG/XL for tops- so I am really happy with the changes.
I'd like to get down to 145 lbs and a size US 6 like I was in college, but we shall see how that works out!
 Good luck!!!0

You'll find everyone varies so much even at similar heights and weights, depending on their build).
I'm 5'10", weigh 195 and am currently in a size 10 jeans (or 31WX34L if you go by those sizes).
I'm an hourglass with pear tendancies as far as shape goes. The reason I point this out is because I can't even pull a size 14 in skinny jeans up over my thighs although the waist would be way too big. In "skinny" or "slim" fit a 16 fits my thighs and butt but the waist and belly area are huge. So my size 10s are all in a "curvy" fit (big butt & thighs) and so are the 31X34s (silver brand, Suki style) and are still "tighter" in the butt and thighs and a little loose in the waist. Even at my biggest size (22) I still had to wear a "curvy" fit... just bad genetics!
ETA: I'm female and in Canada (our sizes are the same as the US).0

            I am 5'6 - 258 size 24 US
Something I have been trying to figure out are the huge size discrepancies? I have never been below a size 10, usually a 12. I am normal bone structure, I used to weigh between130-135 Lbs & 10-12 was the smallest size I ever wore. I was in decent shape, played sports etc. Just curious how so many people can wear such small sizes at that weight. Even some people hereMFP that weigh 200 # Are in 14s I just don't get it. Any feed back on that? Just wondering :noway:0

I know... Read me reply above! It's too hard to compare sizes because there are so many variables! If it helps my measurements are Bust 41, Waist 32.5, Hips 42 & Thigh 24.5 (a 36DD bra if that factors in).0

1st day - vanity sizing! I am sure I would have been an eight or ten ten years ago if I had been the weight/shape I am now! 0 0

I am 5'5", 170 pounds and I wear US size 12-14 pants, 12-14 dresses and M-L tops. It really all depends on the store, brand and article of clothing, I find there can be big differences.0
