If you like wine, I've found that mixing 1/2 glass of wine with 1/2 a glass of diet cranberry (or diet cran-grape/diet cran-pomegranate) is amazing! The diet cranberry drinks are only 5 calories, so they really cut the amount of calories you're drinking for your wine. The end result tastes a bit like a delicious sangria.
Interestingly, mind of matter often takes over for me, and I'll feel like I drank a full glass of wine when I'm done. It's been life changing for me! :drinker:
This sounds awesome! Thanks for the suggestion!0 -
Bourbon [the one I drink, Ezra Brooks] is 69 cal an ounce.0

Any liquor mixed with a 0-calorie drink is pretty low. I like Capt. & Diet Coke - only like 60 calories.
I like this drink as well!
Vodka and Sugar Free Red Bull is another good choice0 -
I am in Ontario Canada and they have a wine called Skinny Grape, it is pretty good. 80 cals for 5 oz. I know in the States and Canada I have seen Skinny Girl Wine as well as other drinks she has created with the Skinny Girl line.0

Alcohol is pure calories, so the less calories, the less buzz. Wine and beer have some non-alcohol calories though, so basically most buzz for the buck is a clear liquor.0

I mix a shot of liquor in a 16 oz. glass of water, and mix in Crystal Light. The only calories are how ever many is in the shot, and 10 calories per packet of CL. Plus, Crystal Light has come out with margarita, and a couple other flavors for alcoholic drinks as well, which are pretty yummy!0

I drink vodka and diet tonic with a squeeze of lime. Yum!!
Diet tonic is awesome too - the artificial sweetener is completely overpowered by the bitterness of the quinine.0 -
Skinny margaritas!0

Have you seen this site yet? http://getdrunknotfat.com/
It helped me get a handle on the calories in most of my favorite drinks...0 -
malibu coconut rum and diet coke, 51 calories, since seeing them on here I have also tried the crystal light mojitos and crystal light appletinis, in the pitcher of mojito mix I squirt lime juice and just a scant drop of peppermint extract, I pour it over a tall glass of ice with a shot of spiced rum.0

A 60 calorie rum drink or a 70 calorie Vodka drink is 1 oz of liquor, realistically most cocktails contain at least 2 oz. Just keep that in mind
Add a couple drops of Angostura bitters to any drink to open up the subtle flavors in the liquor.0 -
if your into beer i guess id go for miller 64
but guiness is lower cal then most light beers if that turns you on. works for me.0 -
Gin and tonic... hold the gin! Scotch on the rocks... hold the scotch! Tequila with sugarfree cool-aid... Not so low cal, but you'd have to be plastered to drink it! You can always try the wagon... Been on it since April 22, 1988.0

I'm not really an drink type....I do drink beer though and if I'm out eating, it's Miller Lite...at home, I buy Bud select 55 calorie. Haven't seen the bud select at any restaurant I've been to yet.0

this. you're always going to have cals with alcohol, but with wine/beer/mixers you get the extra carbs and sugar.

About 100 calories for a reg sized drink. My fav is the Marguarita.
You can also make your own skinnygirl drink with ice, tequila, about one squeezed lime, splash with an orange liquer (float), like Triple Sec or one of the other orange flavored, if you need more 'filler' to fill up the glass, then some sugar free tonic water. I usually pass on the salt around the rim, but if you are not watching your sodium, then add the salt around the rim
This is how I made the marguaritas before the bottled stuff made it to my geographical area.. The recipes used to be available on the Internet on Bethanny Frankel's site.0 -
Maybe the extra tonic water should be club soda? I don't remember.. I just buy the bottles now.0
-
Captain and diet coke, vodka and sprite zero, or straight shots!
I Shots! lol0 -
