Log it all0

I think I would log everyday ...even if I cheat...The reason I do not cheat is due to me not wanting to fall off of my diet. I make sure I only eat sweets on holidays. It is hard...but I go to work without money...so I do not splurge. I also only bring what I know will suffice for my diet.
I think it is better to eat in the early mornings...on my day off I ate a handful of cheerios and felt like I fell off of the diet.
10 pounds a month. That is my goal...right now I am sitting on top of it. 219 to start...and right now...3 weeks later 209.0 -
I have no need for cheat days since I don't restrict my foods. I eat whatever I want within calories limits. But if I did cheat, I would definately still log it just for comparison, you know?0

Log it. Those calories don't just disappear because it's a cheat day0

I log everything.
Even when I went out for my birthday and ate my calorie allowance in chinese food (on top of what I ate beforehand) and didn't exercise.
.... And the next day, when I went to my mom's and had 2 slices of cheesecake haha.0 -
Don't be ashamed of the calories in your diary. It's just a number. Track your numbers and use them to improve yourself.
The body keeps an accurate record of what we eat even if we don't.0 -
I don't have a cheat day, per se but many days where I go over on my calories. It all balances out in the end. Personally I think we need to always log..> That way it gives us a record so that if we have a weight loss plateau we can get an idea of what may be going on and corrections we can make. Best wishes on your journey.0

For myself, I need to be accountable for what I eat. If I make the decision to overeat or simply have something that is way out of bounds then I log. I also not what is going on with me. I am hoping it helps me to overcome some of my eating problems.0

I haven't had a "cheat day" yet, but I have had "cheat evenings". What I do is log Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack just to keep me from binging throughout the day and then in the evening I get my cheat meal and one to two cheat snacks. I never log my cheat evenings but I do make a note in my food notes of what I consumed just so I remember what all I had.0

I log them if I'm home. Lately we've been going out of town for specialist appointments for our baby. During these visits, we stay in a hotel and eat in restaurants. Thinking I was being smart by choosing lackluster salads after quickly searching caloric values of the entrees, I stopped tracking The dressings were outrageous and it seemed each choice royally sucked. Now I make up for it when I come home.0

When I'm cutting I do log my cheat days. The ipad app of MFP has the pie chart and i try to track week by week progress. When I'm on a bulk I don't log at all.0

I think it's really important you log your cheat days because if you are cheating by a ridiculous amount of calories, you could be sabotaging your entire week without realising.
Personally, I don't agree with cheat days and I think it's better to have a cheat meal and then compensate for it during the week. I also don't think it should be an every week thing but just when you feel like it.... but I know you aren't asking that!
So yes, log your cheat days as it's a good way to keep track of your overall progress. Otherwise, MFP wont be giving you accurate goals.0 -
I would log it hun. At the end of the day , you're only cheating urself if you dont enter it into your diary. And seeing it in black and white might encourage you to try harder? xx
