Looks amazing!!0

It was actually very tasty despite my mistake in not cooking the crust first!! The cauliflower crust gave it a much greater depth of flavor than a standard homemade crust would! Plus I didn't have to knead it forever.0

I never would have thought to use cauliflower for pizza crust, but I like cauliflower and would totally try this! What made you think to use cauliflower, out of curiosity?0

It is actually a fairly common practice amongst low carb dieters. You can also make mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes, cauliflower tots, and cauliflower breadsticks. :drinker:0 -

A similar recipe can be found at: http://www.eat-drink-smile.com/2011/04/cauliflower-crust-pizza.html
I found it on pinterest and followed the path back to the website
Cauliflower Crust Pizza
Serves 2; Adapted from Your Lighter Side.
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp garlic salt
olive oil (optional)
pizza sauce, shredded cheese and your choice of toppings*
It serves 2 and has 216 calories per serving...or 432 if you eat it all....but beware the sodium level if you had both services is over 1100.... But I made it before from this web site and it used lots of veggies . It was good...but the cheese (using part skim) still had a lot of sodium which is an issue for me.....but every once in a while....you just need something cheesey!!!0
