Any science buffs on? My brain is exhausted and I am stuck on an A & P question about DNA. I know I should know the answer but I can't move past staring at the question blankly. It doesn't help that I've been at it for a while, but I need to move on.

The question is if half of a DNA molecule has the bases GCATTCGA, what would comprise the other half of the DNA molecule?

A reminder or some help understanding would be welcome.

    Oh well, good luck! Soon to be accountant here, don't know anything about DNA bit will have my fair share of fried brain.

    DNA, not RNA right? You're looking for the other half of the base pair that will form through hydrogen binding. Guanine binds with cytosine, and adenine binds with thymine.

    He's right! Easy way.... Rounded letters (guanine and cytosine) pair and straight letters (adenine and thymine) pair!!
