6 Nations Rugby

It's my favourite time of year, the ''6 Naions'':drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

As a passionate Welshman and with lots of misguided belief and hope I back my beloved Wales to reign victorious again. I think it's fair to say in recent years we have been the most successful Northern hemisphere team, however my heart says Wales but my head says England..as much as this hurts to say, I think England are on their way back to the top...

My question is boys and girls...who are YOU backing?

Good luck to you all...game on!

Show your head the red card.

The other team may just score more points but they can never BEAT Wales - this is RUGBY!

However, I may be prejudiced and perspectively gilded since in my youth God lived in South Wales and played scrum-half.
  • Wales all way!! Cymru am byth!!

    England

saisness dewi <--- sorry if that's incorrect and spelled wrongly, it's supposed to say "I'm English"

I'm living in Bahrain so Im not sure I can get 6 nations on the satellite here. I'm rooting for England but don't mind who wins really, so long as it's not France. (nothing personal lol)

My wife was born in Guildford but, perhaps luckily, if it doesn't involve hitting something-or-other-over a net with a glorified snowshoe she has no interest in it.

Thank God they don't moan every time they kick a ball in rugby.

The under 20's always play with belief..but for some strange reason the senior side sometimes ''go missing'' and lack the belief!
A squad with some of the best players in the world but they just don't know it yet?

    Prediction (I hope and pray) Wales 25 - 22 Ireland:drinker:
  • erm... WALES OF COURSE! <33
  • England beating scotland at Twickers...........ummmmmmmWhat a loverly pleasent thought!

Pity im 6000 bloody miles away!

Would love to see Whales in the final (and beat them of course), i do have a soft spot for those 'Wonderful fishes from Whales'....:o)
I was brought up watching them!

Oh yes! St Gareth - with a little help from the Pontypool front row, a succession of flyhalfs and JPR - plus some fellahs on the wings who were probably not all that important unless, of course, the bus needed a push on the way to the ground.

Very proud to say I once played in that very front row, albeit the midweek team but wore the treasured number '3' and trained by a certain Mr Price...sadly a shoulder injury ended my career too bloody early:grumble: :grumble:

It originates in Oklahoma - but it does reach its most glorious moments in the valleys of south Wales (unless you count that lot from Oooop North). It's the song that the Scots get away with that amuses me - has no one actually listened to the words? ( ...and sent him homeward to think again")

    the only one that matters.....

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
    Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
    Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad. Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau, O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
    Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
    Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad tan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
    Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

    At Twickenham today
Since being world champions I have pretty much seen every team beat England there apart from Scotland
Going back to see if that victory against All Blacks was just a dream

France are the form team but after the weekend will have a better idea of where everybody is standing

Wales may lose eight in a row today despite their support

Need to have great Six Nations for a great Lions tour

    Enjoy your rugby
