I've made an oath to myself not to step on the scale for 3 months. I'm trying to build muscle, so I'm using measuring tape once a month. So far, doing great! First measurement to be taken on the 21st! This is almost more of a willpower exercise than physical ;)

Hm, smaller stepping stones? I guess just conquering the U.S. before I go on to conquer the whole world.
With me by her side, of course.

    I claim Finland.

    The world will be ours.

I'm almost to the end of my pregnancy, so the big one is to finish it out healthy. I hit my biggest pregnancy goal by not gaining 50 pounds or more. I haven't even gained 20 pounds. As of today's weigh in, I haven't even gained 15 pounds. I'm pretty proud of myself.

My goals for post-baby fitness are:

    1) Reach and beat lowest weight as an adult, which was 227 pounds
    2) Run 10 minutes straight with the jogging stroller
    3) Beat least year's highest mileage bike riding, which was 20.52 miles.
    4) Officially be out of the plus size department. I was almost there.

Completing my first 10K in May!
and then start training for my second triathlon in September!
Having active goals help me get through tough anniversaries (loss of a loved one's) and to continue to Celebrate my Life!
After years of being a slave to the scale, something has clicked and I am over it! There is no finish line when it comes to our health...
Even when we hit that "magic #" you have to keep on movin' so we might as well enjoy the ride!

I like this idea - baby goals :-) By July 4th weekend I want to be down one pant size. I don't know what that relates to in pounds but I was cleaning in the attic and found a whole bin of clothes that are a size smaller. I want to wear them this summer!

  • My goals are never scale related! :)

Be able to perform both pull ups and tricep pushups on my toes. (I can do regular ones on my toes up to about 20)

Be able to complete ab ripper x without wanting to cry. hahah.

I also want to complete Insanity! (currently doing Turbo Fire/Chalene extreme hybrid)

I plan to win a small lottery in preparation for winning the big one. It'll take a lot of work I'm sure but I'm worth it. :drinker:

Seriously though - my first 5k run is my goal for June/July.
