    This is awesome - such a great story to tell. And I totally, 100%, agree with what you said: that no amount of reward-giving or hating yourself for eating certain things is going to motivate you. It's about HEALTH!

    Congratulations and so proud of you for sticking with it and reaching your goal. I had ACL surgery a couple of years ago and to this day I have some discomfort when exercising, depending on the intensity. I loved how you mentioned doing the steps and so forth--it is quite an accomplishment to work through the pain/discomfort. That's always the time when I want to stop and my head plays games with me. Then once I get through the tough part the discomfort goes away--that in itself is the reward--getting through it and not giving up. I have a long ways to go to reach my goal, but I am thrilled for your success and glad you shared your story with all of us, it is inspiring and definitely what I needed to hear. :smile:
