I'm 5'10" & was about 235 at my highest weight. After my daughter was born 4 years ago I struggled to get the weight down to about 200+. I split my pants "literally" & had enough of the fatigue, depression & size of my clothing. I joined a gym & MFP & lost 48 pounds in about 26 weeks eating right , doing cardio & strength training. I am currently maintaining at about 155 pounds. I am hoping to tone my core & build some more muscle definition. I may be maintaining, but motivation and support is awesome & I would love more of the same. Friend request sent.

I am 5' 11" and I started in October at 284...I am now 252. Slow and steady keeps it off I say. Loving the program. Just posted that I need some encouragement. I want to get into the 40s and then to the 30s...My ultimate goals is 185. Since i am tall it makes it seem like I am thining so much...but I am really just wanting to renew my mind so I can renew my body and remain healthy!

Be encouraged...tall girls are doing their thing!

Finally!! Tall women like me!

I am 5'9.5", and have lost from 202 to 185. My goal is 160. With my frame, that is really the best weight for me. I got down to 157 once and honestly looked great, although others said my face looked gaunt. I think it was because I lost it WAY too fast. (I went from 206 to 157 in less than 6 months, and without much exercise at all... diet pills) Would welcome new tall friends with the same goals/bio!

I'm glad to see women my height have goals similar. I was almost afraid me setting my goal to 150-160 unrealistic.

I'm 5"11 - started at 237 and now am 185.4. It has taken 18 months but I'm not in a hurry - no more yo-yo for this lady! My goal is 177 and then probably 170. I have had two different accounts on MFP since July 2011, but I LOVE this site. This, my Polar HRM, patience and making it about being healthy is what has worked for me.

Feel free to add me - I love new friends!

I am 5'10" and (I think, I am used to dealing in cms here in Australia) 195 , need to be 165.... just for me ... best reason yet!

Have found this SO supportive and fantastic with feedback from others especially on those REALLY CRAPPY days.

Turning 50 in Nov. (10 months to do this.).... AND I WILL.

Like I just posted on my wall today

No one said this was going to be EASY,
they said it would be WORTH IT!"

    Perfect! Kx
