    I think it depends on what it was he said, but since you aren't going into detail, I can't really answer as I don't think it's entirely black and white - especially when the context of the comment/conversation is unknown.

    That's a very mean thing to say. My hubby-to-be would never say something like that. He's said some jerky things from time to time, but never something like that.

    YES, agreed. However my 'worst enemy' has never even come in contact with my boyfriend, I'm not even sure he know her name to be honest... I just always refer to her as 'that ***** I hate' :angry: lol.

    Choose your battles sweety. Is he saying that to be critical of you or to put you down? If so, let go or at least get counseling for yourself to figure out what to do. I'd rather have my bf tell me how he thinks than punishing him for it so he doesn't share next time. It gives me an idea of who he really is and if I want to move forward with him.
