3 lb Pot Roast
1 can Coke
1 package onion soup mix
1 can mushroom soup
quartered potatoes
baby carrots
sliced onions
cook on low for 6-8 hours. the Coke really makes the veggies have such a great flavor.0 -

I love to take boneless and skinless chicken breast put in crock pot and add a jar of mild salsa and cook on low for 8 hours, then remove chicken and shred then put chicken and salsa on a baked potatoe, with low fat sour cream.0

Pork Roast
1 onion
1 tbs dijon mustard
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 jar of apricot preserves.
low 6-8 hours
when done you can take some of the extra juices and make it into an apricot gravy and put over the roast and make some mashed potatoes. i like to do Red potatoes with skin so you get the extra nutrients. it is one of my favorite recipies0 -

My slow cooker is going right now!
Rosemary Lemon Chicken
1 Whole Chicken (thawed, giblets removed) Breast side up in LINED or sprayed Slow Cooker
4 Lemons cut in half
1 package of fresh rosemary (or in a pinch the jarred)
Place chicken breast side up in slow cooker
squeeze lemons over chicken
place lemons in cavity and around chicken
Salt, Pepper and Tony (Cachere's) to your liking
Place fresh sprig of Rosemary inside cavity
Place rest of Rosemary on/around Chicken
Cook on high 6-8 hours ...depends on size of the bird
Serve with a salad0 -

Love the recipe but if you are really looking to shed pounds that meal is going to skyrocket your sodium levels. If you stay well under your sodium levels you will lose more weight and quicker. Mrs. Dash seasonings is the way to go. It is all salt free.0

So very true! I am addicted to sodium and struggle with this all the time...so use Mrs. Dash instead0 -
