Alright everyone list your biggest pet peeve. One of my big ones got triggered today so in order to avoid the rant on the person who triggered it I figured I'd post it on here. List yours too if you want.

Mine is spelling/grammar such as confusing your/you're, they're/there/their or lose/loose or in work email leaving out punctiation or capitalization. Nothing irks me more than a super long one sentence email that can mean different things based on where the missing punctuation should go.

Rant done... thanks!

Edit: I should point out the punctuation/capitalization only bothers me in formal stuff... Informal is fine for things like forums ;-)

Toilet seats left up! And dishes not put in the dish washer the way I expect them to be organized.

Bad grammar mistakes, typos, etc. don't bother me unless I read them in a book. It's hard not to make errors when typing quickly in a post, blog, or email. And errors like that in software helps to keep me employed.

Screaming children, breast feeding in public, forcefully discussing religon or politics, racist remarks, choleric people, melancoly people, anyone younger than me who tries to boss me around, anyone who talks hours about a subject they know nothing of, anyone who hates pets, anyone who doesn't keep up with said pet and it winds up lying dead in the street or biting someone, I could go on, but should stop.

I promise I'm really nice, just honest. A little to much sometimes.

    HUGS!

When my boyfriend looks at porn.....worse, when he leaves said porn up on my computer for me to find when I come home. Nothing like seeing a skinny B**CH with huge boobs gettin' her freak on. And a bigger pet peeve that my bf doesn't seek me out when he has these "urges." Guess I should be home more :(

 I always have to stop and think when using effect or affect. Hopefully I get it right.....

I have many pet peeves (I'm easily irritated by the actions of others), but I think one of my biggest ones are the people who always want you to help them out but are never willing to help you out.

I get frustrated when other people post pics of MY son... or shares them with others. I understand it is her grandson, but I should get first dibs! She's had her chance with 4 kids. Its MY turn.

also when people say that they have no money but eat out for lunch and dinner EVER DAY... Quit eating out and you will have money, then you wouldn't have to borrow for bills!

I also hate people who try and tell me how to manage my money but yet, they don't ever have any money and are always negative! So why should I listen to them?

    WTF!

    K thanks! I feel better!

When people tell me how i'm feeling.

Sometimes if I'm feeling tired, or am in deep thought, I look a little down. When people ask me if I'm feeling okay and I say "I'm fine" it means "I'm fine". You don't need to ask me a thousand times how I'm feeling because the answer will always be the same, only a little more irritated with every time you ask me!

Bah, Ive actually annoyed myself writing that.

There are many more, but that one Irks me immensely. Especially as my boyfriend does it to me all the time.

Haha, this one gets me too. Another similar one which I see all the time is when people drive their dogs to a field to take it for a walk.

Ooo or in the Walmart parking lot waiting for the spot blocking the lane, after they drove around forever to find that spot. Why not just park at the back and walk in, it's not that far!

I'm with you on this one. I drive hundreds of miles a week, and there's a three-lane freeway I use often where people string themselves across the three lanes (when there isn't a lot of traffic) and drive a couple miles below the speed limit, so it's difficult to get around them. If I'm in the mood to drive slowly, I stay in the slow lane.

I am going to sound like a horrible person...but I cannot stand it when people whistle!!! There was a coworker in an office across the hall that whistled all day long and it annoyed me to no end. I promise I am not a crazy person.

I would have agreed with this until I actually experience the wonders of a dog park last month. We took our dog to visit my cousin in the Chicago suburbs and I was fascinated with the number of people at the dog park and how great the dogs got along when allowed to play off the leash in the park.

My pet peeve is spelling errors. My frustration is that my iPhone doesn't have a spellchecker - now I'm part of the problem!!!

My second pet peeve is road rage driving (DH does this and drives me bonkers!!!!)

An oldy but a goody. Putting back an empty container in the fridge or one with less than a serving of whatever. This week my daughter put back an empty egg carton. I just looked at her and said "Really?"
